"Swiss Army Knife" of torches/flashlights?

Interesting tool! even has a Zombie-stabber model.

Hehe! you know…… I think one of these would be a good/different BLF special edition……………. what do you think? (maybe not the zombie one lol!)

Saw also this one

über-tacticool :smiling_imp:

Or maybe something better like mine:
I’m sorry I have only this poor photos, because the battery of my digital camera is out of service :person_facepalming:
In tools like that, you can find a small 5mm led; nothing special, nothing like a real flashlight but in a dark room it do the job.
But, the most cool thing is that every tool is with linear lock!
The quality of mine is so so, but if you like it maybe you can choose something better (more money need  )
Bye!!!

No good. I insist that my multitools have death hammers, not life hammers.

See when I think of a ‘swiss army knife’ light I think of lights that can handle multiple cell types. Like the old Gerber Omnivore.

…but what if you need the tool in the dark…?

that’s whst your backup flashlight is for! the one you carry in an akle holster.

I like it))
And the other day I saw the most expensive Swiss knife. Something in the neighborhood of $10,000. I think this flashlight and the knife would definitely become friends.

The only question is, how easy is it to use?

The MecArmy X7S is a attempt at such a gadget. I gifted one to a family member, mid 2018. It has held up very well. I used a coupon at the time of purchase that put it in a more realistic price range.

i have not seen any multi tool plus light, where the light was any good

sorry

better to just separate those out, they are too different

also no drivers exist like you want, either - that i know of

wle

Victorinox signature lite.
There are many such things, but most are junk.

A lithium ion battery, lighter fluid, and an open flame walk into a flashlight. What could go wrong?

Let me know…

How about a real swiss army flashlight- the Victorinox Midnight Manager ? I also had an old 2AA Victorinox flashlight, back from the luxeon days, that has had a SSC P4 in it for the last 10 years. Great light, just super dated at this point. Somewhat unique in that the batteries go in backwards, negative first.

Victorinox has many models equipped with small LED lights, such as:

- Card size: Swisscard Lite

- 85mm size: Swiss Lite, Signature Lite, Midnight Manager, Midnight Mini Champ, etc.

  • 91mm size: Spartan Lite, Huntsman Lite, Traveller Lite, Cybertool Lite, Mountaineer Lite, Voyager Lite, Expedition Lite, etc.

Midnight Manager’s LED light beam shot approx. half meter from wall

Midnight Manager’s LED light beam shot approx. 1 meter from wall

The Vic Midnite Manager is a great suggestion. I replaced my original red led with a 3mm warm white equivalent.

Nice spill and tint, man

Thanks,

It really suprised me how close it compares, to my eye, to the warm Yuji 5mm led .

At some point I want to give this mod a try. A infinitely variable Midnite Manager appeals to me.

I only ever see LEDs shoved into tools.

Best multi tool i know of is this:

Very customisable
