【ツ】Wurkkos TS30 + TS30S Sales Thread - available on wurkkos.com, Amazon & AliExpress

My observation (might not be correct) is that Wurkkos seems to start a new product with a much higher price (if there is a “pre-order” price, it still seems to start out high) and then maybe gradually lower the price. Eg. the Wurkkos HD20 has dropped in price when I check it again, as opposed to when it was available originally (which I feel was quite high-priced)…

But specifically regarding the TS30 (triple SST40), I think there are several competitors for this kind of light, so I would think that making the TS30 competitive right now would probably be better…
Eg. One of the first triple SST40 flashlights I noticed was the Nightwatch NSX3 (NS43) with triple SST40. Then the Astrolux EC03 (also made by Sofirn?) has come out with triple SST40… The Lumintop FW21 Pro now also lists a triple SST40 variant. So these are in likely in direct competition with the Wurkkos TS30, which is yet to be released…

TS30S / TS30 discount price also available on official website now:

Promo code OOTNLTFJ … not valid.

I try to get a new code a.s.a.p..

For size comparison, TS30S and TS30 with their brothers and sisters...

(from left to right: TS30S, TS30, HD20, FC11, DL30, WK30, WK40 prototype)

Oh damn I didn’t know the TS30S was that much bigger than the TS30! I suppose that kinda justifies the price difference!

And oh, WK40 prototype :open_mouth: ? Mind sharing some more info? I’m always interested to know more about Wurkkos/Sofirn development

OP updated:

TS30S is now available on Amazon US (actual link is still pending, will update asap).

Codes for AliExpress updated.

TS30 promo price is now lower than before, check OP for more information.

Links to wurkkos.com now updated if you like to purchase directly from the manufacturer.

Yes, the difference is quite significant, mostly because of the deep and wide reflector for the SBT90.2 LED. Moreover, the price difference comes from the high material cost for the SBT90.2 LED, being around $ 40.00 per each. TS30 still does a good proportion of throw, though. I try to post a full review here as soon as possible. Some first feedfack by TLF members looks pretty good, performance quite on par with the Amutorch XT45.

The WK40 project (quad with RGBW LEDs) will no longer be pursued for technical reasons, mostly because of necessary third party parts that were hard to source. I only put this one next to the other ones for size comparison. Sofirn's IF25(A) is quite similar in size and shape to the WK40.

Damn I had no idea that LED is that expensive :open_mouth:

Yes I’d love a review of it! I have my eye on this to perhaps upgrade my Sofirn C8G since this one should throw further and has Anduril  Thanks for the info thus far!

The head of the Wurkkos TS30 on turbo starts to get really hot in about forty-five seconds, and continues to get so hot I can’t hold it barehanded. My Astrolux FT02S which puts out significantly more lumens than the TS30, does a much, much better job controlling the heat.

I really like the beam quality of the TS30, the UI, and overall build quality of it, but dang it gets HOT! Maybe mine is defective …?

Turbo on this sucker does get super hot. It doesn’t seem to throttle down much.

TS30S Amazon US available now :Amazon.com

TS30S Amazon JP available too :http://www.amazon.co.jp/dp/B08R7S2YLN?ref=myi_title_dp

TS30 available in Amazon.UK

OP is updated

TS30 code for Amazon UK available now

TS30S code for Amazon US available now

Apologies if I missed this, but is Wurkkos now trading under GoZebra on Amazon UK?

Also, TS30A looks like a prime candidate for CULPM / CULNM :innocent:

Probably, GoZebra is Wurkkos‘s new retail partner for Amazon UK. Maybe I can find out more about them. The name is somehow misleading as I would hope they were selling Zebralight flashlights, too. :-))

Any new news about the TS30A?

That bundled 21700 5000mAh shouldn’t be sold with the TS30S, please find something that can allow it to perform to spec. Sofirn sent it to me for review and it’s only slightly better than a Samsung 50E

The battery supplied with TS30S is a rewrapped Lishen LR2170SD. The most interesting specifications are:

Diameter: 21,7mm ± 0,2mm

Length: 70,9mm ± 0,2mm

Weight: 72g ± 4g

Nominal capacity: 5000mAh at 0.2C discharge current

Minimum voltage: 2.50V

Maximum voltage: 4.20V ± 0.03V

Standard charge current: 0.2C (1000mA)

Maximum charge current: 0.7C (3500mA)

Maximum discharge current: 2C (10000mA)

Initial internal impedance: ≤ 30mΩ

Thanks for that, Sofirn never provided those specs. Almost finished the tests
