No need to be upset. If you take in the account all the spamming / shilling happened here lately, you might agree that your first post to a thread like this seems a bit fishy. Right?
About this group buy: This light might be ok for someone who is a flashaholic / collector and wants to have something with a SST-50 dropin. They are not so easy to find, and are still quite expensive.
However, for that price you can find much better general purpose flashlights. Just look around here and use the search function. Or start an introduction thread and ask your question there.
I have reason to believe what I stated, and I left a clue mind you, I also said I may be wrong. If I am wrong, then my apologies, but we will see in the end, if I am right or not. =)
Now any of you two like camping? What are your favorite camping flashlight?
I didn't think they are that dumb. Knowing this (that they did not know....) I would suggest Mr Admin take off the picture and don't give these folks a clue how you found them out.
HAHAH! I laughed when I read that, too. The thought that someone would even say such a thing boggles my mind but I’d bet that someone, somewhere, would say, “Duhh…ok, if you say so”.
Well, they know full well that their IP address(es) can be traced. That's why she challenged the admin to look at her IP address to see that it was different from the skycraper. It was different in most cases, in fact almost every single page load was from a different IP because they commonly use proxy servers to conceal their identity. But apparently either she forgot to use the proxy when she created the "skycraper" user or the proxy node to which it was routed on that occasion happened to be the same. I had to dig through several pages of logs to find the same IP, but there was at least this one occurrence.
