Samsung INR21700-50S

Local availability will most likely improve in 2021… and the price will come down significantly in 2 years when Samsung releases the 60Q.

I don’t think 60Q will be a possibility. The 18650 couldn’t break 3500mah for half a decade already. 21700 is maxed out at 5000mah.

Even further back, the 3400 was ~2012 or so?? So they increased capacity 2.9% in 8 years? It's slowwww goin with Li-Ion advancements in the real world. They've made better gains in lowering resistance, but you still have to sacrifice capacity.

… one can dream.

Can’t wait to get some 50S’s for my Emisar K9.3 lights. Can’t find them anywhere though

I just recently picked up eight of them from Vapcell (rebranded as T50), but looks like they are sold out on their Ali store at the moment.

When did you order Rayoui? I managed to get a pair but it seems it has not even shipped yet after 2 months of waiting since November 2020.

That’s odd. I ordered on December 8 and they were delivered January 6.

I contacted Vapcell's customer service. They asked me to be patient as it will arrive eventually.

Moreover, they have extended AliExpress's timeframe to raise a dispute.

So, instead of 75 days I am now obliged to wait 90 days before I am allowed to file the dispute. :|

Thanks for the update dude. I’m still rolling with my 50E’s and 30T’s

There’s no mass production yet

So it’s more appropriate to buy Samsung 50g or 48x, 40t temporarily

I ordered 30th December, still not shipped. No idea when they will be either as they have not responded to my message.

Thinking of grabbing some 40T’s for my K1 and K9.3’s… prob better then my 30T’s or 50E’s.

Received my T50s this morning. They just look so sexy

Nice! Where’d you get these

I need a good 5000 mAh 21700 cell for my K9.3 lights, but cannot find either the Vapcell T50 or Samsung 50S.

Anyone got a link to an online store with some kind of supply??

Ya me too Helio! My 30T’s put out some nice power but run out sooo fast!

Can’t someone just make a 5000 mah cell with the power of a 30T? Maybe graphene batteries in the future?

T50's are the real thing. Being Samsung gave them the "S" marker, it seems appropriate - same class as the 25S, slightly lower than the 30T and 40T.

Need to ping Dennis again on availability: https://budgetlightforum.com/t/-/53910

Do you mean the Samsung 25R? That would mean the 50S are even one step further towards high current, between the 25R and the 30T/40T.
The Samsung 50S are rated 20A, right? Because there is a new LG cell, INR21700H50, 5000 mAh, which seems to be rated at 25A. I would expect similar performance as the Samsung 50S.

edit: Sorry Tom, I just found out that there is indeed a Samsung INR18650-25S cell.
