Latest release Vapcell 21700 5600mah 12.5A battery

Any idea when another restock for the T50 is coming?

I would love to order some more T50 batteries but i.a.w. tracking (Post Lithuania?) it seems mine have not even left China after two months of waiting. Probably, they take the slow boat trip around the globe. I hope these will arrive anytime soon. Did Vapcell send some to HKJ for testing? Is it confirmed that there is a Samsung 50S underneath the shrink?

I would also be interested in buying the Vapcell S4+ charger. Dennis, any more updates planned for this charger, e.g. even lower termination current than 50mA? Too many chargers complete charging batteries at less than 4.20V, leaving them at a resting voltage of 4.12V - 4.16V. I find several listings of the S4+ charger on your shop but which one is the latest version?

FWIW, Vapcell tracking doesn’t update between shipping from China and arriving in my letterbox in Australia though usually 3-4 weeks not 2 months

Got some goodies from Vapcell today!
3 x 21700 T50
2 x 10440
1 Vacpell Q1 charger

All arrived well packed. I bought them on the 9th December, shipped on the 13th, arrived today (13th January).
Shipping was tracked through Post Plus (and some post related to Lithuania).

All items arrived well packed, so thank you Vapcell!
The Q1 charger takes unprotected flat top (and eventually unprotected button top) 21700s, but it won’t take protected 21700, such as a Wuben cell from the TO50R.
Just wanted to give the heads up on this.

The T50s arrived charged at 3.44V (I’m now charging 2 of them in the Astrolux BC2 and 1 on the Vapcell Q1 charger). The 10440s were charged up to 3.79/3.80V (will charge them later).

Have you tried this site for tracking?

Normally it shows every movement, when 17track doesn’t. I’ve been using along with 2 other tracking apps and I like it a lot!

Just wondering… why would anyone by a 800mAh 2A battery, if they can buy a 1000mAh 3A for probably a few cents more? I bought my gold Vapcells from nkon for about 3 euro per piece. I don’t see any reason why would I get a worse battery, unless I need hundreds of them so the savings would actually matter.

One reason I could think of, is if the lower rated battery has a much longer life cycles (ie. more charge/recharge cycles)… however, I’m not sure if that is the case for this battery…

Thanks for the link. In my case, 17track shows more information than postal.ninja.

I am not sure what to make of the information given below. AMS sounds like Amsterdam (Shiphol airport?) but ever since that time there was no more movement.

======================================

My Vapcell order arrived last week but this is all I have on tracking:

Yup, I too noticed that in this case, the 17track was showing information before the postalninja I linked.
I can tell that it was accepted on the 23rd December, then it was dispatched internationally on the 24th. After that I only got some notice on January 11th, when it was received in Lisbon. 2 days later I got information about distribution and delivery.

This was the first time I received a package through this LT posting, but so far I received it. Maybe yours got “stuck” in the airport meanwhile?

I hope so. Otherwise, there’s a slight chance it was seized by German customs. Customs will not be able to charge me any import tax for it (value is below EUR 25.00) but still they are (over)cautious about lithium batteries from outside the EU. I do not want to imagine what will happen after July 2021 when European customs regulations will demand import tax as of EUR 0.01 total value. :person_facepalming:

I hope not. Mine normally come with a yellow sticker mentioning “Goods not fulfilling…” (an EU regulation), but they arrive here.
Top values here is 20€ (I guess), but I normally pay only when things come from the US or from China through DHL or similar carrying services.

Didn’t know that about the new regulations. I guess I’ll buy all I need before that…or not  :person_facepalming:

Hope you receive yours soon :+1:

Obrigado MascaratumB. :-) I see these yellow stickers all the time and I wonder what the heck they complain about (manual in local language, CE sign, etc.). Never mind...

I guess you are right about the 20€. I guess those 25€ come from a minimum fee they need to charge you over here, so as long as it's below that number they will not charge anything.

I found this about the upcoming regulations...

https://ec.europa.eu/taxation_customs/news/new-guidance-document-import-and-export-low-value-consignments_en

https://ec.europa.eu/taxation_customs/business/vat/modernising-vat-cross-border-ecommerce_en

"(...) The introduction of the import scheme goes hand in hand with the abolition of the current VAT exemption for goods in small consignment of a value of up to EUR 22. This is also in line with the commitment to apply the destination principle for VAT. (...)"

Thanks for the links L-P!! :+1:

About the yellow stickers, I found this:

Let’s see where this goes!

To not completely deviate this thread, I’d like to say that I left my T50 batteries charging over the night, 2 on the Astrolux BCs and 1 in the Vapcell Q1.

The Vapcell Q1 lighted green when the battery was at 4.14V. I left it a little more and it didn’t go upper than this.
The Astrolux lighted the 4 blues when the batteries were at 4.13V . Same thing as above!

The voltage was measured through a DMM.

I don’t have other 21700 charge to go upper than this, but being at 4.13/4.14V seems a good top using these chargers. :+1:

2x 40T arrived this week. Now I can try to compare them with a T50. :stuck_out_tongue:

Charged 1x T50 and 2x 40T to 4.203V, 4.203V and 4.205V.

T50 measured 20.6A on a Sofirn IF25A
40T measured 19.6A on a Sofirn IF25A
40T measured 19.58A on a Sofirn IF25A

Are 40T’s supposed to go a bit higher?

Are more T50’s coming?

I only got 2 :frowning:

Very good test sharing

Sell out now, please wait if u want more

I wish my two T50 batteries were here already. Ordered November 21, shipped on November 25. Tracking has stopped in Amsterdam since mid of December. I know that batteries can take a bit longer due to customs procedures but more than one month is quite some time. :-(

Dennis, will there be any further update for the S4+ charger?

  • lower termination current (< 0.05A) in order to charge batteries to actual 4.20V (not 4.15-4.18V only)
  • off switch for the beep after charging is complete
  • wider slots to charge 4x 26650 batteries

Will you offer some (BLF) discount for the upcoming Chinese New Year sale? I am willing to spend some more bucks in your shop if the T50 becomes available again and if you were to offer a faster/more reliable shipping method to Germany. I have already contacted Vapcell's customer service but all I was told is to keep waiting and the window before I can raise a dispute was shifted by another 30 days.
