EMISAR D4SV2

This one is flat top unprotected.

So you are using flat top batteries. Thank you

Yes, this and Vapcell 26650 5900mAh 20A cont, which is flat top too.

  • Thank you for help.

The new Astrolux ea01 is a little bit longer, but essentially the single led version of the Emisar d4s. No aux leds though, but does have lighted switch. I have both and they are awesome!

Although it might be more fair to say the Astrolux ea01 is like the single led version of the mf01 mini. I’m not trying to compare Emisar and Astrolux. But the ea01 is a really nice light

D4sv2 (sst20 / 5000k) and the EA01 (sst40 / 98,000cd / 2300lm)
Length is about 5/8” (15mm) longer

EA01 optics looks like super cool. If only this could be purchased with high CRI 4000-5000K-ish emitter…

I use flat top unprotected also, Shockli and KeepPower 5500mAh.

I have a convoy s11 with xhp50 5000k on order. I don’t think that is high cri, but I am hopefully going to reflow that led onto the ea01 board.

I would love a high cri option though

THEIR BACK. All colors!!

I see the XP-L HI 4000k is not available. Can anyone tell me how the XP-G2 compares?

I like it. Nice neutral Tint, not High CRI, but nice. No green.
Here side by side with a Nichia 219C 5000K on the right

More interesting for you: Do you know Bluzies Beamshots comparison over at TLF?

https://www.taschenlampen-forum.de/threads/lampenliste-gesamtübersicht-von-a-bis-z.69320/

There you can compare a lot of different LEDs and Tints, also the D4SV2 XP-G2 S4 5D and the XP-L HI 5D is listed.

Thanks DrDevil, good info.

I Got the Emisar and are on the bench for the EA01, is it better or does the Emisar beat it on every level and better to find a different type of light (got plenty on my Wishlist)

The only thing about the EA01 i hands down prefer over the d4sv2 is it does not heat up as quickly. The other aspects that could make ea01 better are situational (ea01 has more throw, that might not matter to someone), ea01 is less expensive (may not matter), ea01 has a lighted switch.

The d4sv2 has a more quality feel-my opinion, is smaller, may be brighter, has aux led’s on mcpcb, has high cri emitter options, etc. they are pretty different to equivalently compare.

I’m using 26350’s in my three D4SV2’s. I wonder how much more power I’d get going to a Shockli / KeepPower 5500mAh?

My two new ones are deep red and SST20 4000K. Love ’em both!

I am using the black version Liitokala’s also very pleased with them (bought it from the official store)

Sweet! Do you have a link to buy them?
