FireflyLite E12R 12*emitters 15000LM 1x21700 Flashlight

These would be E07 gen2. I was emailing fireflies about another E07 and Jack said E07 gen2 is coming out next week, black, navy blue and red color for choice.

Edit: WOops, these are T1R, not E07

I was asking Jack about the T1R and he also said it would be coming out next week and would also be available in Red, Blue, Green and Black. I guess these could be any one of those…

I really LOVE Fireflies clear/polished ano, I was hoping the T1R would come that way based on the initial pictures but he didn’t mention that was gonna be an option.

I received my T9R and NOV-Mu yesterday. The NOV-Mu puts out over 4400 lumens in turbo measuring with my TA tube which is impressive for E21A. The NOV-Mu can sustain 1000 lumens for a pretty good long while, and the built in charging seems to work with USB PD just fine, magnet is nice and strong. The two T9R are nice also, though some imperfections in the reflectors, maybe I will see if Jack can sell some reflectors. He said E12R start shipping Monday.

Please could you share some pictures of the T9R, how about the size?

The head is a bit smaller than the K1, a bit shorter overall.

Very curious to hear your impressions of the T9R compared to K1. Which versions did you receive?

I have the T9R with SBT-90.2 and CULNM1. In my K1 I have the W2.2 CULPM1.TG. The osram T9R put out around 780 lumens, while my K1 puts out 970 with the larger die of the W2.2. Both beams seem comparable in size and throw with a bit less output on the spill of the T9R. I would say it seems to be a good replacement for the K1 because of the built in charging which allows you to use the light while charging. The driver is highly efficient and the body has really good thermal dissipation, not that it seems to generate much heat because of the nice driver. I don’t have the SBT-90.2 in the K1, but in the T9R it does absolutely wonderfully. The current regulation is super spiffy and works very well in all of the new Fireflies lights, it is very efficient and you get pretty low heat output for the large amount of current in these babies, it is a very efficient host and setup.

Lol are you me? I have two MF01S as well and I never use them either. Initially I was enamored with them due to the throw. However once I realized they had the exact problems you mentioned, they fell to the wayside and collect dust now. Heats up extremely quick and lumens fall precipitously, and the host is just uncomfortable to hold.

I have a MF01S and MF02S, so I know what you mean. These are far more efficient and way less bulky, just a generation forward and you can tell.

Mark M, you have very nice collection of new flashlight! I think many people are interested in the driver design of the NOV-MU and new fireflies flashlight because you are first few to receive, and the new Noctigon K9.3. If you have time, can you do quick review and comparison of the flashlight and the new driver? It seem like fireflies has a new driver that is not seen before with charging and buck, but K9.3 has double channel but is linear but no ACM1735. It is exciting new year for flashlight!

you are right. Jack just post photo of new flashlight on the facebook group! The dark green look very nice in my opinon but maybe the red and blue look a bit too ‘bright’.

Apologies for incorrect info above. This is the blue E07X

That’s some picture, until you look close, it looks like an under water monster.

Are those 26650 based?

This thread has the info on different battery sizes.

Thanks for your response.
If you could only have 1 T9R, would you pick the SBT90.2 or the W1? Preference between the two?

I would probably pick the SBT90.2, I think for me it is the better general purpose beam, I love having that extra spill and more loosely defined hotspot, plus it is collimated much closer to the flashlight so the beam is useable at very short distances the W1 has a donut hole 16 inches away. The W1 does also have some minor rings from the reflector, the SBT90.2 doesn’t have this issue.

Is it worth the $50 price premium?

Normally I would say no, but with this driver I do think it is worth the extra $50. 6 amp current regulation really makes the SBT90.2 shine. If you are looking for the longest throw go for the W1, it has a nice tint, not super cool until you go into turbo. But the SBT90.2 fits my needs better and 1800 lumens with current regulation is great and 4000 lumens with the FET.

I see you say the charging work with USB PD, does that mean ‘USB C to USB C’ cable? Do you know if K9.3 also work charging with PD? I read many light need USB A to USB C cable to charge so this is good finding.
