Thanks for sharing these beamshot videos, these also seem to confirm, that the XHP35 HI 4000K option is 90 CRI. I ordered one already two weeks before, so I will be happy to receive it.
Earlier, I asked Simon, if he could get 4500K or 5000K CCT of XHP35 HI 90 CRI, but if I receive this, and I like it, probably I'll buy another for one of my friends, who already would like a high CRI thrower.

Oh yes. 4500 and 5000k are awesome.
They still can be found but only in 500ea quantity.

Oh man that is much greener than the ones RNGWN was selling. Too bad Convoy couldn’t get a rosy batch otherwise this could have had so much potential.

Simon sent me an L6 FC40 sample for testing. The driver has three modes.
I measured the output at 30 seconds with iJoy 26650 batteries.
Low 231 lumens
Visually the beam is quite green especially on the mid and high modes. That was verified in the sphere. Here are the results with the beam integrated. The tint shift is not bad at all, but the SMO brings out some unevenness in the beam. Probably nothing to worry about outside, but visible on a white wall. I’d put a minus green filter (at least a 1/4 or Zircon 803) on the front glass to alleviate the green. That would drop the output approximately 20 percent.

Given that there are some drivers out there that require the ring to be modified, I’m sure I’m not the only one who has asked about spare retaining rings for the S2+.
Simon will surely add the ring to your order for free if you leave him a message.

That ring does not fit the S2 or S2+ because they are made for 17mm drivers. That retaining ring/adapter is for larger hole pills (20mm) to make a 17mm driver to fit there. Withouh that, the pill will be suitable for 20mm drivers.
In case you need a retaining ring for a S2/S2+ pill, maybe you can ask Simon directly, I’m sure he’ll send you one
