Great idea for a giveaway. But I have no idea, not familiar with lumens output..... I will post my guess later. Maybe I will just get the 10 most number guessed and take the median as my answer. =)

Only a few more hours to guess and/or modify your answer! Asn an aside, I can't believe I forgot to mention that the xm-l was a T6....my bad.

Some pretty good guesses.....others have kind of made me scratch my head in confusion a bit....

Last minute hint: If the number you've guessed isn't 4 digits long, you may want to change it.

I had 999, but since your clue says four digits... my instinct is to say 999.9 because I think you are clever enough to not mention the need for a decimal. That's what I would do. J)

THANKS! Awesome testing Match, and incredibly impressive results. I have to admit that I have a little bit of experience with REALLY well heat-sunk LED emitters, but I am still a bit surprised that you were able to get those numbers out of an XM-L; I thought I was a bit high in my guess. Really awesome!

As for the prize, it's a beauty! Can't say thank you enough!

Next up: XM-L Soldered to a copper slug with the slug bonded to a TEC :) Can't wait for that guessing game :)
(hint: I have a bit of experience with that as well..hehe)
