I find flashlights with a length of 4" or less the perfect size for EDC pocket carry. Its great when these lights can use an 18650 battery with its capacity up to ~3500mah.
2 of my favorite lights I've found that fit these criteria are the Lumintop FW1A/3A, and the Folomov 18650s.
I know this question is probably going to cost me some $$, but what are some other 18650 powered lights that come in at 4 inches or less ?

Lumintop EDC18 is similar to the Lumintop FW3A. Both lights use the Anduril user interface.
The main difference is the EDC18 has a side switch which is always illuminated and is also very stiff to operate which may make it safer if you do not electrically or mechanically lock out your lights.
The EDC18 is 93.9 mm in length with a 27.8 mm diameter head and weighs 76.5 grams without a battery. This is only slightly more than the FW3A which is 92.5 mm in length with a 25.5 mm diameter head and weight of 53 grams.
I have three EDC18 and four FW3A (but only two of the FW3A work reliably). The available LED choices are similar for both and neither has built-in charging. Both use flat top 18650 batteries and longer button tops batteries would most likely damage the compression springs.
I like the captured pocket clip and styling of the FW3A and also like the smooth operating almost hair trigger tail switch which is not illuminated. The FW3A also has a glass lens over the TIR optic (but I am not sure if this is the case for all versions of the FW3A).
The EDC18 deep carry pocket clip is detachable which I do not mind but it does not have enough clearance where it folds over itself to easily fit over the seam at the top of my jean's front pocket where I prefer to carry it and it has a tail cap magnet that I do not want for EDC which cannot be easily removed. It also has just the plastic TIR optic without a glass lens which can scratch more easily.
I enjoy having both lights and use the EDC18 with the magnet on machines in my home shop but if I could only have one it would be the FW3A. I am not sure about the quality of the newest versions of the FW3A with the bunny logo engraved on the tail switch because the only one I purchased had an almost clicky tail switch that many times stuck on so I returned it to Amazon.

Rarely because it’s discontinued. I have the NW version, no need to swap the emitter.
For the Emisar d4v2 I would choose the e21a that comes with 6 Amp regulated driver. I would also consider the Skilhunt m200. A little longer than 4” but still very compact and can put a good amount off sustained lumens.

5A. My bad. But my point is it produces over 400lm sustained without pwm.
It doesn’t matter if it’s 5A or 6A - there’s no regulation on high mode, output falls off the cliff right after startup and it stabilizes on a measly ~450lm. I know it’s small but those are pretty weak numbers.
Exactly, 5 or 6A doesn’t make any difference. I don’t know many flashlights, so I thought that sustained 450lm for a light of that size and hi cri was good. Looks like a FET+7135 is less efficient.
