Test/review of Keeppower 18650 3500mAh P1835U (White-blue) 2020

Keeppower 18650 3500mAh P1835U (White-blue) 2020

Official specifications:

  • Minimum Capacity: 3350mAh

  • Nominal Capacity: 3500mAh

  • Nominal Voltage: 3.7V

  • Discharge End Voltage: 2.5V

  • Standard Charging Current: 1.0A

  • Max. Continuous Discharging Current: 5A

  • Built in micro-usb charge port

A 3500mAh protected 18650 with build-in USB-charger.

A pack contains two batteries and a dual usb charge cable.

The two cells tracks nicely and can handle more than 7A before getting too hot or protection will kick in.

It looks like the USB charger reduces current probably due to temperature at the start of charging.

Conclusion

A good protected battery with good capacity, the USB charging can be useful on the go or if you only have a few 18650 batteries.

So essentially they are 18700 cells, not 18650.

Usually protected batteries are longer than the number says. I have recently tested a few round cells that contains a pouch cell inside, this means they match the specified size, but until now I have only seen them in smaller sizes.
