How is the 16650 cell doing in 2021? Are there any good options other than the Keeppower sold at illumn and malkoff? I have a like-new E2D with LF drop in just begging to get carried but I don’t like burning CR123 cells needlessly. LF recommends and unprotected cell, and the drop is does, supposedly, have LVP. Any good options out there? I typically go to illumn for mmy li-ion cells, but they only have the Keeppower and some low capacity IMR cells.
I bought some Sanyo in an AliExpress store (as these, tested by HKJ).

Yeah, the mkiii with the 90cri 319 looks nice. Wish it was a little warmer, though.

BTW, the only 16650 light I have is a “combo” of the On The Road M1 (tube/tail) & i3 (tube/head).
I am using the Sanyo batteries there!
Adding one of these 47s light would be nice so I’ll keep an eye on it
