No, they are like revision v5 or v6 (I can double check). No drop-ins. Have a threaded in light engine.

Quick question, since I figure someone here may know. I found this photo on CPF from a review by u/chenko from about 10 years ago: does the e03 your selling have a pill like this picture? And if so, do you know if the mcpcb is 16mm? Or smaller? Thanks! (I may want to replace LED in future )
Also, Edcplus- do you have any replacement switches for these e03? I’ve been reading, figure if I can buy a couple that’d be great. I plan to use this light often

Yes they have brass pills like that. 17mm driver size and 14mm area for LED MCPCB. I’ve never changed out drivers but I’ve done dozens of LED swaps on these over the years. I got Xeno to make these in XM-L back in the day after modding one and showing them that it worked well. And yes I should have a few spare switches laying around, but they should also come with a spare.
Yup, I tore through the boxes and had a spare switch in my s3a and e03, so hopefully I’ll be good, thank you!
And glad to hear about the led swap, that’s what I may be doing in the future. The neutral xml is really nice, I just may swap the cool one with a niche 219c or xpl hi or sst20, maybe even an osram cslnm1… but looks like I’ll need to reflow the led, as I don’t know where I could source the aforementioned leds already mounted on 14mm mcpcb. No problem though, I’ve had a little success with reflowing so far … thank you for those Measurements!

E03 came in original box with switch included. That's a fine perk I'd like to see other manufacturers match. Nice light too!
R10A will make a fine bangaround pocket service light, where I prefer it to start on H anyway 'cause that's often whet I need in the field. L is of useful brightness in most situations too. I like the momentary ON available with the forward clicky. Too, it shows indications of being a vampire light, reliably starting on L with a cell measuring 1.09v, something many of my e-switch lights refuse to do. I'll post lowest useful voltage when I discover what it is.
Nyogel will find use not only on lights, but also on the often-corrosion-challenged pin connectors of the vintage motorcycles I restore, collect & maintain.

got my latest shipment. luna k1 is marked copper on the light, but it’s brass. the es1 is marked copper on the light but it’s brass. do the manufacturers’ have a different concept of copper/brass than us folks? another question, why didn’t i ever hear of the luna k1 before? so many lights. so little time. it’s a cute little thing. i would have put it on my dogs collar if i ever had one. my neighbor’s dog’s name is Luna…maybe i should buy another one?
Yeah, think they call brass “yellow copper” and copper “red copper” or something weird like that.
Kinda like how Angry Blue™ light is called “white light” but even NW is called “yellow light”.
