Sad to see not one of the colors reach 100… really would at least like a raw and black, and even a purple if I can’t get the blue. Anyway, hopefully some kind of exception can be made or some interest comes up.
I’ll just note- I recently ordered (received last week) a fw3brass from Neal and it’s functionally flawless… I know I’ve seen some members on other threads questioning the fw3a functional reliability. I have never had one with an issue and I’ve owned 5. So I hope that isn’t holding some newer people back from signing up.
That’s what Im thinking, most must already have what they want. I unfortunately wasn’t as into the fw3a in the beginning and when I finally was, the colors were gone. Especially raw and black…
The FW took too long, had problems, and the silence from its inventor made no good impression, so I went with an Emisar for a small 18650 light. No regrets, it’s still the only 18650 light I really use. Like the side button much better for “non-tactical” use. Still the FW-series is obviously a great success, looking at the many different models.
The only light im interested in is the TK-version since it’s something special. Pretty sure it will be a shelf-queen though. I have high hopes a short light will see more use, since it is perfectly pocketable, so what I really want is the 18350 light. But it’s doubtful that it will make it into production. But we’ll see.
I know… if my wife wouldn’t murder me I would sign up and buy the remaining spots for raw and black and sell them myself after receiving them just so I could get a couple for me…
Or… maybe like 10 of us could gang together and do it? I’d be in. Blue and green too.
To each their own, but never understood FW3A 18350 tube. The light in 18650 mode is already the same size as a typical 18350 light with mechanical tailswitch, in 18350 mode it is awkwardly small. IMO the stock FW3A is the most ergonomically satisfying flashlight of all time.
