Can i have a current code for astrolux EC03 please? thanks

Most manufacturers haven't start work yet.
is green sst40 5000k back in stock?
Got it, thank you.

Green XHP50 is IN STOCK! never thought the day would come! So Glad i waited to order another ec03, its been months since ive owned one, because i have been waiting for this green with xhp50 to arrive in BG!

First of all i want to say Hi Everyone on forum.

I have question about xhp50.2 5700k or even lower tint. Is any chance of availability in future?

No plans for it. Try LED swap yourself?

Thank U for answer.

I’ve never done it myself, I’m afraid I have lack of skills. I can outsource it to someone, but this will greatly increase cost.

I have question.
As far as I know, many people preffer NW or WW leds. Why then there is often so big problem with availability of warmer tints in flashlight. Availability problem?
IMO more prefered tints = more sold flashlight = everyone win. (If was be avaible at least 5700k I would already buy)

Personally, I’d rather pay more than have CW light.

Cheers.

Sofirn has the XHP50.2 3V 5000K's in stock, I ordered a few and they shipped: https://sofirnlight.myshoplaza.com/products/xhp5023v

Don't know of any available in lights right now - they have been very scarce, problem is sourcing not cost.

How about WildTrail WT3M 3*SST40 5000K?

Well sst40 is rather not an option. To throwy

Im looking for flooder, thats why i wanted to buy EC03 with xhp50.2…

BUT

I need EDC flooder and WT3M*3 seems to be perfect match for me.

EC03 have one minus for me. Head dimension is a little to big for EDC flashlight imho. Simply is to big to carry it comfortably in pocket.

WT3M*3 have everything what I need, dimensions, UI, USB, power, 21700, op ref which i assume is making nice flood.

Damn even that 6000k on xhp50.2 is acceptable considering above.

But before i will buy it i would like to see beamshots which i cant find.

I took a wall shot, but I only have the SST-40 WT3M. It's very floody even with the SST-40's - shallow OP reflectors, very wide beam, but still a hotspot, though large.

Just compared beams of my WT3M SST-40 to a EC03 XHP50.2 and the hot spot is about the same size, but the tint of the WT3M is sooo much nicer in 5000K, plus those XHP50.2's have 3 clearly defined color: white/blue center, halo of yellow, outer flood back to white/blue.

Can U upload photo please?

Tom E I’m rly appreciate Ur help :+1:

Hhmm, I got these: https://budgetlightforum.com/t/-/67057/36

As you mentioned, I noticed that several of Sofirn’s XHP50.2 flashlights now list “5000k” variants (eg. Q8 Pro with 4x XHP50.2 5000k, SD05 and SP33v3 with XHP50.2 5000k), I’m not sure if the SD01 Pro uses 4x XHP50.2 6500k or 5000k. The Wurkkos DL70 with 4x XHP50.2 also appears to use the 5000k (although probably not “true” 5000k, but maybe something like 5400-5700k)

Ohh, that's interesting but does make sense. They must have gotten in a pretty large batch. I do wonder if their 5000K is a true 5000K, because not sure if it was Sofirn, but we've been misled before on these 5000K tints, and Sofirn doesn't document their sourcing with true CREE part #'s.

From their listing:

XHP50.2(3V) has two tints options
6500K (1C 1D)
5000K (3A 3B)
5300-5700K (2C 2D)

Looks like 3 tints to me. For the 5000K, 3A is always preferred over 3B (CREE tint chart), but it's a toss up I guess for what you will get.

I wonder if any of these XHP50.2 is 5000k or 5700k?

They do look like 3 levels to me, but the tint shifting is so bad on all of them, makes it difficult to see. The last one seems the warmest though.
