I have a RD6018W and I was wondering about the maximum input voltage.
The datasheet says 70V max input, but I tried and it can take 71V.
Can I go even higher?? What would happen at 75V input (no load)??
My PSU drops 10V when under 600W load so if I would set it at 75V at no load it would be 65V under load, so I could still use the full 60V.
Yes you can. I’ve tested it! For everyone who is interested, there is a software limit of 72V input! It wont let you use the device above 72V.
Was that so hard to write down RD Tech?
In Russia, delivery via DPD to the halva postamat. Very comfortably. compared the readings of the voltmeter of the converter with my devices. I'm happy with the result.
Finally I put together a kit. It turned out to be a nice beautiful and useful laboratory power supply for my radio workshop. The unit arrived at 65V 12.3A.(you can still get 18A output on RD6018 even it is 12.3A from the PSU)
Good product, good seller. Detailed explanation on the YouTube channel I bought 2 of the same product. RD 6006 and RD 6018 both products are of very high quality. The product arrived quickly and is very, very well packaged.
Everything is very neat, high quality. Well done just the way it should be. It's a little silly to talk about the speed of delivery. In this case, it did not depend on the seller. Of course, I recommend it for purchase.
I collected everything for an hour. The block is whistling. To stop whistling, you need to put a resistor from the kit. In general, like everyone else, it whistles and works =)
The converter with the housing came to me in good condition and without any additional charges. visually everything is really good quality and it looks like everything will be OK. I am very happy with my purchase
I ordered a complete set: RD6018W with an S800 case and an S-1000-68 power supply and assembled it. Everything works fine. The packaging is branded, especially the RD6018W module, so iPhones are packed.
