Keeppower 14430 950mAh P1443C2 (Black) 2020

Official specifications:

  • Voltage: 3.70V

  • Rated capacity: 850mAh

  • Minimum Capacity: 800mAh

  • Discharge cut-off voltage: 2.50V

  • Charge voltage: 4.20V +/- 0.05V

  • Standard charge current: 500mA

  • Maximum constant discharge current: 2A

Protected LiIon 14430 batteries from Keeppower, these batteries are about 5mm shorter than AA batteries, but with the same diameter and the higher LiIon voltage.

The two batteries tracks nicely, they are rated for 2A and can handle it.

Conclusion

This looks like good batteries, but they are not for high current and there size is a bit uncommon.

Thanks HKJ!

Just wondering, are there flashlights or which devices make use of the 14430 size battery? Or perhaps can be used for a substitute of some other battery type/size?

I guess that some flashlights that take 14500 cells will also take these!
The black Sofirn 14500 cells and the White/Blue Lumintop cell (with USB charging port) are shorter than most of the 14500 but they are named as such, so these may fall, more or less in the same category. Depending on the flashlight!

Thanks for your review HKJ!

EDIT: Forget what I said about the Sofirn cells, they are longer. But the LT has approximatelly the same length!

I think that this would be a good target for a rewrapper to add a USB port while still fitting all 14500-powered devices.

There have been some. For example, Keeppower P1495U and Vapcell P1409A .
