Tritium Inlay Source?

Anyone have a good source for red 1.5 x 6 mm inlays? Most seem to be out of stock right now. Thanks.

Aliexpress has them, but they are not cheap.

They were half the price a few months ago. :open_mouth:

Thanks, will probably just buy those unless someone has a better option.

Found a $4 coupon, so only ended up being $11 shipped. Thanks!

NealsGadgets seems to be listing them as in stock for only 99 cents each! I tried confirming that with him but no response. So buy at your own risk.

Not any-more, they seem to have increased the price.

The 99 cents version are not Tritium, they are glow in the dark GITD material.

Ur right. That makes more sense

Wow, that was a great increase in the price :o

At JL724: I guess that maybe you can check these again in some weeks, if you can wait some more time.
Sometimes after the Chinese New Year prices go up and then go down again after a while. I’m not sure if this is the case though.

From this store, I know they are reliable at least!

Mixglo.com has them in 1.5mm x 6mm.

Edited to add - only in blue, pink or yellow. Yellow will glow the brightest / longest of the remaining three options.

How do you guys “attach” these to the cutouts in your lights? Hesitant to stick glue on it.

I use UV glue.
Put the glue and the tritium vial in place, then use a UV flashlight or let it cure “under the sun”.
Make sure the vial is placed correctly, not too deep nor too protruding in the cutout (in case it is “horizontal). If vertical, take care too, of course.

I haven’t done it, but I know a lot of people use a UV activated epoxy like Norland.
