Lumintop GT nano on the way

Not that I’ve seen. Without that it’s just a toy for showing off occasionally. But it is fun.

people are discovering various aaa bodies that fit the nano head also

thrunite Ti3 original model (not the new V2):

Lumintop aaa tool original, not the latest one with a Tir lens:

Nitefox aaa:
this review shows the nano works with the nitefox body

and I suspect for the copper nano,

that a copper aaa maratac, tool, worm, prometheus beta body will work, but have not confirmed

.

I wonder what would be the shortest compatible tube…that tool one looks really out of place.

for black, the Nitefox is the least expensive and as short as other twisty aaa options

for copper, the maratac on the right is shortest:

.

the Ti light in the picture is a Thrunite that I believe is the same size as the Nitefox, but have not confirmed.

I see, thx. Too bad that this Nitefox tube is $20 when shipped to EU.

The discontinued Thrunite TiHi fits it perfectly too and is short if you have one of those around.

I agree it is not inexpensive to add an AAA black tube to a black GT Nano

I hope you discover you already have an AAA body, that fits the GT Nano head

the copper AAA tube (Maratac) costs even more
but I already have a copper Maratac
what I dont have, is a GT Nano, so I cannot confirm it works

resisting…

Yeah, the Nitefox looks like the way to go. Looks like it was made for the Nano and is now offered at less than $11.00 with the 10% discount on Amazon.

I’m resisting as well.
And I think I may keep doing so until Lumintop gets their act together and releases a longer tube as well.
I’m not sure really. But the light is expensive and I really don’t feel like paying a lot for a light that could have been much more than it is. OTOH I realize that they may never cave to our demands and by resisting I will just lose out.

And mount the LED on a DTP MCPCB, fingers crossed!

I believe the first batch had non-DTP PCB but they’ve fixed that already a while ago.

Really? Well at least they got that sorted!

I bought the Tupac. Makes ’em ~$9ea. I’ll gift one…
They even have colors……

Yeah, I don’t get why some of these alternative 10440 tubes listed in this thread aren’t good enough for the Nano and folks are still waiting for Lumintop to finally bring theirs out which will be more expensive?

Do whatever you want but we’re a quizzical bunch here on BLF!

Well, I guess one can go a little back in this thread and see things like this…

Maybe this helps understanding why many people are still looking for stock 10440 tubes instead of making “frankenlights” from pieces of other lights…

Yes, I remember your posts and thanks for that and that’s fine if folks want an actual factory Nano 10440 tube and to each their own.

I just meant that if you can’t wait for the factory offering, there’s alternatives out there at less expensive prices. In fact the Nitefox tube looks almost identical to the Nano 10440 tube.

Again, if your preference is for the factory tube, go for it and enjoy! :+1:

I’m impatient so I bought 2 Nitefox lights from Amazon. The tubes work very well. I also use the Tool AAA Tube and it works well.
Now I have 2 very tiny twisty lamps using the Nitefox heads, the Nano tubes and the diffusers that came with Nitefox lights.

I do understand what you say too, don’t get me wrong
The thing is, as “we” were teased with something “stock” which was then abandoned or postponed, I guess we feel in the right to ask for that “tease” to become something else!
I even thought Nitefox was out of business these days and that it would be hard to get something from them. But fortunately it seems they are still selling their small AAA lights (I have one)!

Still, the thing is: why will people buy 2 lights if they could buy only one, if the tube became true? That is my point.
Other than that, I may give it a chance just to get a keychain light with the nano tube
But, to each its own!

Really? I’d likely buy a 10440 nano, but not for the price of the short nano plus donor light.

Got it Mas! :+1:
