Dealing with Mateminco 5 percent discount 6 days from China to my house

Astrolux is BG’s brand, and has used Manker, Mateminco, and Sofirn as suppliers.

They manufacture the products for sale by BG, but that’s the extent of it. BG is responsible for the sales and service (or not, as the case may be), not the supplier.

In instances where there are shared, interchangeable parts between the models sold by different brands, the manufacturer can be sought as a source, and provide unofficial support if they are willing, such as Mateminco in this case. But they’re really under no obligation to do so, and may be contractually forbidden in some arrangements.

To draw another example — most automotive batteries are made by one of three large manufacturers.

One of those, East Penn, sells them under their own brand name, Deka, as well as supplying them to other parts brands, including Duracell, Walmart, and NAPA.

Those latter three brands are serviced and warrantied by their retailers, not the original supplier, East Penn. Their responsibility extends only to the brand they sell, Deka.

The same also applies to the other manufacturers, Clarios and Exide, as well as myriad other products where a limited supplier chain provides products for multitudes of brands.

To the OP and Tatasal- thank you much for this info!

i`ve dealt with Ben several times and can confirm that he is talkative guy who cares.

Mateminco offering 5 percent discount on orders of 40 dollars or more, code of BLFMEMBER.

Ben is my contact for importing bulk, Very responsive, never once had any kind of issue

thanks for the feedback. I don’t believe I have Mateminco lights (or maybe I do?) and I will look into their offers.

Most Astrolux models are Mateminco

Thanks!

Thanks for this, I have an Astrolux S42 indeed!

Has anyone tried the 5 persent off code yet

I’d love if manufacturers would stock a few spare parts - some of the things I’m interested in are the MT35 Mini centering ring around the emitter, and a bare MCPCB for the MT18 (not populated with Nichia emitters).

Once again Ben at Mateminco has come through. Late last Thursday I ordered a Mateminco mt70 plus head and the battery disc’s that I needed to fix my Mateminco mt18s. Ben suggested I use DHL for shipping he said its a little more expensive but much faster. So I paid 41 dollars instead of the 29 Aliexpress charges for standard shipping which says shipping will take between 15 and 39 days. I ordered late last Thursday and my order arrived today(Wednesday). My order arrived in perfect condition. Thankyou Ben and Thankyou Mateminco. Jim

How large of an order did you make? $29 for standard aliexpress shipping sounds like you’d be getting ripped off.

The standard shipping I can get on any light from Mateminco is free, but “delivered by June 10” - although DHL for the MT90 Plus is 275AUD ;p

Aliexpress standard shipping 28.57 on mateminco store page.

Order was 140 before shipping
The price of Aliexpress is listed on products page. Aliexpress standard shipping is 28.57 something like that. Listed 15 to 39 days. Aliexpress premium is 41$ish. Its listed at 10 to 15 days. DHL was 41$ish listed at I think 6to10 days. I ordered just midnight on 2/25 and I received it just before 3:00 pm on3/3.If you would like to see Mateminco shipping prices, go to Aliexpress search Mateminco click on any light, then click on the store button, then find the mt70 plus then go to shipping details.

Yes Mateminco offering 5 percent with the code of BLFMEMBER for the Blf.

Anyone tried the discount code BLFMEMBER,for the 5 percent discount. It might be possible that Mateminco would increase the discount to 10 percent if they saw a large enough amount of people purchasing for the Blf family.

They have to address the parasitic drain problem they are having still with various models before I feel comfortable buying anymore of their product.

Haven’t heard of mateminco having that problem only astrolux
