I hope that us who took the initiative to sign up and commit early get our lights?? i didn’t even think that was something i had to worry about? That would be pretty ridiculous if they sold out and people who signed up here didn’t get the light they wanted.
Speaking of this -
Max, how does this work? I have never done a signup with you before, do you account for the lights people signed up for? How are the LED options assigned? is it split evenly between all the options (i.e. : 20 sst20, 20 nichia, 20 xpl hi 5000k, etc), or is what people wanted for their signup is what is being produced?
Also, are only 100 being produced? or did this open up production for more than 100, and 100 was just needed to get the process started?
Sorry, i’m a little worried now as i am not always on top of notifications and theres a chance that if i need to order mine the day it drops ill be SH out of luck…

Actually the short tube option was added Feb, 3rd. So, yesterdays numbers should be considered

I assume it won’t be possible to get it with a Lume1 driver and aux LEDs as that would increase the cost, and as far as I know Neil doesn’t build-to-order like Simon. However if there is an option to get a Lume1 pre-installed I’ll definitely take it.
As long as it’s one of the lume1 drivers with MOSI/MISO around the right way, not like the first batch. Still a bit dirty about that.
I would too and would be willing to pay extra for the driver. I’m waiting to see if the lights even get made.

Good point, and hopefully the correct resistor values for the aux LEDs too although I’m planning something like loneoceans’ pink/cyan/warm white triLED combo for my purple shorty.
That too! I still haven’t done anything with my first-gen driver because of those two issues. Blah.
