T1R releasing date is delayed due to the pandemic, the main driver is short of supply now.
E07X can be ordered next week.

Wow that sound like even flashlight manufacturer is hit by world wide chip and ic shortage. I remember reading that even some Attiny is running out of stock!
Why can’t Fireflies put that ugly ass CE, RoHS logos on the box I hate it. Hank does not put that shit on his lights so I do not see the reason why FF does.

Or if they are required to have them, put them on the INSIDE of the body or tailcap.
I know the CE RoHS lettering is a European requirement… but can it be removed with lacquer thinner or acetone
… or will the lettering once washed-off still be etched into the finish?

They are laser etched into the anodizing. Not coming off unless you sand/ polish the tailcap down to bare Al
That's not a bad idea actually, but I think it's a bit more unprotected from scratches, but the scratches are less noticeable. Scratched black anodizing, on so-so quality anodizing shows the bare metal in the scratch.
Maybe if enough show their dislike they will find away around it.

Great thing about raw lights is when they get dull or scratched, you just polish them again. I just refreshed my raw FW1a this week… Practically new again :laughing: :+1:
I got in contact with Jacky. From what I was able to understand it seems like they had some delays with getting their parts on time for the T1R.
He’s said he’s selling the short tube and 22430 battery only as a set for $25.
How much is the flashlight? What good is the battery n short tube for sale if you don’t have the flashlight.
Fireflies’ new tubes and lights are all compatible with one another so you can mix and match. It’s a shame that the threads are so bad though
I guess that’s why the new E07 has not materialised.
sunny, was there any word on the price of the Flashlight itself? i need to know if i’m considering this one or not… with the kr1 being a nice $55, this one is going to depend on price for me.

$98 is too high for me, I was interested but looks like the throw is about the same as kr1 which I already have. I do love the new colors though, onboard USB charging is also nice.
Yea I prefer no on board charging just bc I never end up using it and I feel it’s something to go wrong. I know Tom e is having a bad standby drain issue with a new Astrolux that seems to derive from faulty onboard charging circuitry. I’m sure FireFlies using upgraded parts, but still. Paying extra for it… I’d rather save money on the light and charge my own batteries
