Which TV show did you watch lastֻ

I’ve been watching Northern Exposure for the first time and it’s some of the best TV I’ve watched in quite some time! Sure, some epidodes are a little out there but all in all it’s entertaining, vivid and still relevant.
It doesn’t hurt either that I’ve lived north of 60 and can relate to the weirdness going on under the midnight sun or the aurora :D.

Only C and K-dramas here. Currently subscribing to:

L.U.C.A.
The Rebel Princess
Homemade Love Story
River Where the Moon Rises
Storm Eye

Started watching Wynonna Earp.

It’s kind of cute. Girl power, LOL!

Some episodes are LMAO. Rick getting hit by a satellite or the running of the bulls. How are you watching if you don’t mind? The DVDs being sold on Amazon don’t have the original music. I rather watch on my old VHSs, commercials and all, than watch the DVDs. This could be making money in reruns but the fighting over loyalties prevents everyone from making money. :frowning:

Today:
“Beverly Hills, 90210” (on Kodi since nobody else offers super old TV shows)

and

“The L.A. Complex”

Sadly I’m also watching the DVD version, obtained through the bay… by a friend .

It's not the worst as I haven't seen the TV version, it's like watching a book adaptation without having read the book, one can't get as easily disenchanted by missing details.

But I sure would love to see the original!

There is a UK blu-ray release with the original music, but it's quite pricey and it wont play on a blu-ray player where you cant change the location code appropriately (or you need to have a player bought in the UK).

For a look at the original you can try this website. It plays all day and you can’t control it but it works.

Thanks Pennzy, I’ll be sure to check that out!

I checked, and it is out there and readily available, if you look hard enough. :innocent:

Like finding a needle in a haystack, you sometimes just need a magnet to get to it.

Old but watchable TV show

trakt.tv is a good tracker to sort out all your TV needs.

just finished watching all seasons of seal team

up next snowfall

I saw the South Park Vaccination Special.

It was kinda a letdown.

The South Park Pandemic Special was a lot better.

Just finished suits over the course of a few months but during the entire time it felt like I’ve seen it before though having never seen the show prior… I just realized that Harvey and Mike reminded me of Jeff Winger from community in how he carried himself and general mannerisms.

I saw I'll Be Gone in the Dark (2020).

It's a true crime HBO documentary about the Golden State Killer.

It's done very well, and I'm not a huge true crime fan.

My mom is, though, and she read the book that the miniseries is based on.

If you're wondering why the series is rated TV-MA, it's because of adult language.

Take out the cursing, and it'd be rated TV-14 for descriptions of sex and violence.

(The book doesn't have adult language like the TV series.)

The music is excellent, and even though the series is a documentary, it is not boring.

The comedian Patton Oswalt is a part of the series, and he is quite entertaining.

Although the series is about the Golden State Killer, it's also about his victims, and some of the people that helped catch him.

If you like true crime, and aren't offended by some swearing, I highly recommend the series.

Downton Abby.

1. free DVD rental at our Local Library with curbside service.
2. they sure change clothes a lot. several times a day. “costume drama” indeed.
3. like all soap operas, it is necessary to become “hooked” to enjoy the who-said-what-to-whom.

i was not hooked.

Good series. Really enjoyed season 1. Watching s2 now.

I saw last night's Saturday Night Live.

I know that some people don't like SNL because of the politics of the show, but that is a controversial subject that we should avoid on BLF.

The host was Elon Musk.

He did a surprisingly great job.

He also has Asperger Syndrome, and it shows.

His monologue was very funny, and he was in most of the skits.

I didn't think he would do such a nice job of hosting the show.

I'm not a fan of everything that Elon Musk does in life, but I appreciate his boldness.

My favorite project of his is Starlink, which should offer excellent internet service for a lot of people (including my family sometime in 2021.)

Usually people as rich as Elon Musk cannot deliver a joke that well, and I was impressed.

He does seem like a very weird guy, though, probably due to his Asperger's.

Overall, it was a pretty good episode of SNL.

Yeah, he wasn’t bad. First I ever really paid attention to him.
