Started in the background while I was wasting my time on web on PC, drawn me in and all I could think of is how the hell did I miss out on it until now.
Excellent acting from the whole crew (RIP Anton Yelchin), good story with a huge twist and a good music.
Replicas (2018)
Keanu Reeves + Frankenstein ??? well that’s why I skipped it initially but I was a little wrong.
This isn’t the best Frankenstein (ish) movie ever but it’s in my top 3 or 4 now.
Basic plot a scientist working on transferring memories from the recently deceased into a new “body” loses his family. Chaos ensues but not the way I expected.
Worth a watch instead of something you’ve seen - absolutely!
Trust (2021)
In this sexy and twisty ride, New York gallery owner Brooke and her husband Owen each face exceptional temptations, with most unexpected results.
Interesting movie about young marriage in a big city - and all temptations that come with it. it is about a honey trap set by the wife.
I really liked this movie. Interesting plot, excellent execution, and a really good combination of the story line within the movie. Architecture is the word.
A good movie for design, architecture and drama enthusiasts.
1. James (Jimmy) Stewart was the Tom Hanks of his day.
2. both the Cowboys and Indians were good guys and bad guys.
3. these old movies could tell a good story in an hour and a half.
Zack Snyder’s Justice League (2021) After the horrible version that Joss Whedon did (and I love Joss Whedon), I was really looking forward to this. It did not disappoint. There were a few points where I thought it was a bit slow, and maybe some CGI look a little obvious, especially on cyborg, but overall a good film.
I will note that I didn’t realize how long it was (4 hrs!) when I started. Having watched the other one, I did sometimes glance at the clock and think to myself “wow, there’s alot more story left…” about 1/2 to 3/4 way through.
