What blade did you EDC today?

Although those are not my type of knives, the work you have done on them looks superb, Dale!

Today, and for weeks now Iā€™m back to carrying the mini bugout. It has unfortunately not the class and elegance that I like and that other knives do have, but it is simply the most functional EDC knife that I know of (not the least because it is usable for lefties like me), an extremely well thought-out knife.

Todayā€™s EDC was a Boker Plus desert tan auto. Oh, and a SMKW Trash Panda Tinker by Victorinox.

Thanks Jos, it was a learning experience, did the ZT first and discovered what a mess it is grinding carbon fiber!

My Koenig Arius is still my favorite with the Mini Goblin a close second.

Got into the steel formula, the Medford is CPM 3V, I wear a fixed Blade Guardian 3 in Vanadis 4E that I like lot, itā€™s wharnie blade shape is great for general purpose daily use.

My problem with the Medford is that isnā€™t a flipper and Iā€™m pretty hooked on a super smooth bearing operated flipper. My Arius is 204P and the Mini Goblin is M390, ultra smooth flippers from Koenig are addictive!

Dale, that Praetorian is a very nice looking slab of sharpened steel.

Is it really EDC if you carry something different each day? :stuck_out_tongue:

I always have my Victorinox Ranger, but the past month has seen it accompanied by a CRKT Pilar in HH red.

:+1:
Do you have a matching shirt for it?

I was thinking about using this as a folding Sgian Dubh under the kilt while enjoying the neighborhood with some bagpiping.

Jokes aside, I actually have a colleage whoā€™s doing that but to me it is as heā€™d hold a cat tucked under his arm with its tail in his mouth, alternately chewing and biting it, considering the sound and looksā€¦

I EDC a knife. If it isnā€™t the same knife every day, Iā€™m still EDCing a knife.

You might EDC a knifeā€¦ but the question is which one did you everyday carry today, implying that you do not carry that same one every day.

Got tired of the stock blue color of my 535 Bugout, so I tried my hand at Rit dye for the first time, turned out pretty nice IMO. Used ā€œfrost grayā€ and had to keep it in the simmering water+dye for quite a while to get it as dark as I wanted, but that lighter dye color really let me choose just how far I wanted to go.

Included original carry bag for a pretty close reference to the original color.

CH Knives CH3541 front flipper:

Kershaw Cannonball 2061!

I received this knife yesterday.

It's pretty good, but it's not one of my very favorites.

It has a short clip on it that I thought I wouldn't like, but it's fine.

It kinda reminds me of my Cryo II BlackWash, but with better steel.

This compact Tunafire flipper lately:

Fake Kershaw Launch 10 arrived. Nice little knife. Generally I donā€™t like fakes, but tried to buy an original and thatā€™s a little complicated with auto knives for non US buyers. Iā€™ll keep trying.

I buy all the sub 2ā€ blade autos from ali because I can carry them in Cali. And there are some bitchen ones too! I have that 10 so snappy.

Modded neck knife.

!!

I think thatā€™s spaghetti sauce; could be paint though.

Nicely done! I was just about to quote your post before, pics or it didnā€™t happen sort of thing and there it is.

Today, my usual really, the UKPK in blood popsicle red G10. Iā€™ll add a pic in a min.

Like how you made you own scales. Have you ever done a post on how you do it on any forum?
That Medford love it.
