I got mine a couple days ago and I’ve got mixed feelings about it.
Positive:

  • I’m happy with the output from the main emitter
  • The GITD is pretty impressive

Neutral:

  • The UV light is very green because of the GITD shell (no big deal I think)
  • I don’t see any point in the red and blue side emitters (no surprise here)

Negative:

  • Why can’t the RGB-LED be turned on continuously with adjustable color? What’s even the point of that blinking?
  • Charging port cover does not fit properly on mine
  • The button is crooked on mine

I got purple, starry blue, blue and white. Only the white is satisfactory, the others colors effect the secondary output so the flashing blue and red are partly covered

I truly wished they could make a tiny window(s) for AUX LEDs. Purple shell pattern comes out really nice.

Having some issues with the ramping. After about a day it’s now really slow. Takes about 45sec to ramp all the way down/up. I tried resetting but didn’t fix it. Any ideas?

Get it fully charged and try reset again.

I got two K2s yesterday and one fell less than half a meter onto pavement and broke. The plastic seems to be very fragile.

I dropped my purple on the first day too but it survived. K2 is rather light in weight, it is really surprise to see it suffered such severe damage at such low drop.

Anybody experience similar issue?

After using mine for a while…
It seems to hold the glow alot longer than the jetbeam,
but the jetbeam let’s the secondary lights pass through more.
The ui is actually pretty good.
I guess the 300 lumen strobe could work in absolute darkness.
I just wish the party light sequence when activating lock out was limited to a few blinks…

It looks like this light is manufactured by mateminco. So if someone doesn’t want to deal with banggood… Use the aliexpress mateminco store. The service is fantastic.
