you seem to be a Wurkkos fan. Do you happen to own the Wurkkos Radio Bluetooth Speaker?

I saw some Amazon Questions and reviews saying AM is not “useful”. I wonder what that’s about.

Unno. I got one, and reviewed it, too. I don’t listen to radio (on my old car, I even unscrewed the whip antenna and put a plastic sleeve on the stump to protect the threads just in case), but I did check am/fm/sw and everything worked.

Then again, I’m in NYC and there are no doubt radio stations right close by, so it’s not like I’m out in the sticks somewhere.

Get it, get it, get it, if only to experience the creamy white goodness of the LH351 LED. You won’t want to settle for any other LEDs after that. Great choice for the WK30!

Does anyone know what type of driver is used for the UV channel? Is it linear, or buck/boost? I’m interested in seeing if the UV can be swapped to an IR LED.

AFAIK, WK30 can be driven with 2x CR123A (not recommended), so I presume it is a buckdriver.

This light is nice but a challenge for an ‘ole man’ light. I can get to the red mode after a couple of tries but the UV is very difficult for me. I really struggle with 3 consecutive fast clicks……… Long Covid? :person_facepalming: :cry:

Amazingly, this light seems to be out of stock in the Shopee store (and Lazada). I wonder if it’s just a store/warehouse supply thing or if it’s phased out already?

Discontinued, I think. There was an “upgrade” to photo-red vs red, and 365nm UV vs 395nm, but I like the original better.

Recently I think there were coupons available for the WK30, so if I’m recalling correctly, I’m guessing that was done to clear stock.

Czech out the thread for the WK40, as that’s an interesting little puppy. R/G/B/W, no UV, but pretty kewl.

Oh, I didn’t expect it to be discontinued. I was after the UV thing to say the least. Kinda regret not getting one at the discounted price earlier (the price suddenly went up so I ended up ordering an IF25A in disbelief).

Here’s hoping for another UV light….that doesn’t require a long press to turn off.

That’ll work - along with other dedicated UV lights. I just thought it would be neat to have an all-in-one.

Haven’t really tried to look if the WK30 has an equivalent in other brands though.

I’m a fan of the WK30. A weird niche, I expected to resell mine but kept it.
Has been useful having UV occasionally. Meant to get a 2nd and swap the UV to IR but never did
