Project: SUNLIKE LT1 board (Option for 660nm Red)

My intention was to first check how many people would be interested in this idea and if we had the interest, then we would go ahead and take the steps towards making it.

If we didn’t have the interest for about 100 orders, it wouldn’t be worthwhile trying to put this into production.

Personally I think it is a bit premature to be fundraising before we really have an idea of how many people would be interested.

If I thought exactly the same, then my SunLike light bulbs would appear in 2020, but they appeared at the very beginning of 2018

s And at all. I said that 10 customers would be enough. You were talking about 50 or 100

pps. I already ordered the red ones 2835 660nm. But with flashlight some problems… Sofirn official store on aliexpress did not answered about shipping inside China and discount with it :frowning:

interested

It will need 2-4 jumpers…
only 3v and 2.4A and not so much space for lines (tracks)

like here

I have sent my order and am ready to pay :+1:

I think 16+16 would be best so the brightness is more even. Wouldn’t 18+18 make the brightness less even without increasing the overall brightness by much?

Do you need jumpers? Wouldn’t something like this work where the red highlight is the (+) and the black is the Warm white Negative and the blue is the Cool White Negative work?

Order sent, asking for Paypal

Yes, it is possible to do like that. I will check size of the lines. I hope it will be enough, because jumpers is pain

paypal is: 50380707[d0g]qq.com
add paypal fee 5%
add mark: for Adam for BLF LT1 pcb order#

P.S.18+18 is better I think

I assume that symbol is an @ sign? 50380707@qq.com ?

What are the benefits of 18+18 other than a bit lower current per emitter and a tiny bit more efficiency?

I feel like the more even beam of 16+16 would be better, or even 20+20 if it can be fit on.

Personally I think I would prefer to sacrifice a tiny % of brightness for for even spacing.

I find this 2835 660nm

What is the light output and do you have the datasheet?

no. And I do not need it, I just need to test it

Okay, let us know how it is when you get them!

do not worry, all will be fine. I use 660nm (for growing lighting) since 2014, and I see difference by my eyes between 630 and 660nm without spectrometer.
Also I am going to order it from another seller too

I asked Barry from sofirn about making an LT1 “Host” (everything except for LEDs and mcpcb) available but sofirn seems to not accommodate such changes unless they can expect 50-100 orders.

Ask him about information support of this project. I mean first mass sunlike flashlight.

What price will be with shipping inside China if 50pcs LT1 without pcb ?

Do you want any other information besides the price? It might help to know what city you want to receive them at.
