please do not use rgb leds, i build few lights with them, i used xml leds, the focus is always off, dies are off center, not to mention d25 reflectors are pretty picky, i had 2 with l2, aka fake xml leds, and the beam was horrible, it had a hole in the middle at any distance, when i replaced them with xpg3 the beam became very smooth ,with no rings or holes, sst20 will work just right with them. and besides who needs green and blue light anyway in a headlamp

Very interested. I hope you can make this happen. High CRI throw led and a red flood would be ideal for a lot of hunters and outdoors people. I know it won’t be a great thrower given the reflector, but if close to 150-200m that would be ideal to me. Also, I propose the red xp-g3 that was recently released be used for the red led. It’s above 620nm but less than 660, so it’s a more red than orange in theory but still has more visible light to the human eye than the 660nm leds if I understand that correctly.

years ago, we found D25 in the market which has dual unbranded LED. I made D25S with dual SST40 led; then D25L with dual LH351D
Now it's time to make D25LR (or call it D25WR?) with LH351D + SST20DR 660nm.

Oooh nice! I’m glad this is still being worked on, too bad it’ll have micro-USB (I presume?) but I’ll buy at least one light anyway 
EDIT: Oh nice it even has a slightly more textured orange-peel reflector (I think?) than the D25L I already have, looking good!

I guess the new model is last flashlight on right. It is SST red+LH351D. Another left to it is also intereted mix SST40+RED. Any plans to release that variant?
Barry it is possible to obtain dual LH351D D25L model from Sofirn AE store. I see it is listed only on sofirnlight.com I preffer to buy it from AE because I can prepaid my EU VAT. Also please make possible for EU citizens to use IOSS on sofirnlight.com

Might need to add some D-C-Fix to the red lens for some diffusion unless it can be supplied with a diffused lens.
