Emisar D3AA is available now

Yep I’d buy that. I loved the 2000K so much I replaced all the bulbs in my house with 2000K ones

But, but, no more blues ?

I found this bulb guide posted by someone else on BLF. It’s amazing

If someone wandering about «new batch» - it has more rounded edges in general, not only tailcap, even a SS bezel and protective ring more rounded, and larger logo. Also, I’d ordered with spare tailcap without magnet - and it comes old style (with lanyard hole). Here is «old» blue and «new» sand batches

Thanks for sharing those pic. I’ve been debating whether to order cyan d4 for a long time because I don’t have any Hanks cyan. I didn’t want it to be too light Of a blue. That color is really nice IMO

Can we get new style, no lanyard hole and no magnet?

Yes, color is great, maybe on picture it’s a little brighter, than in real life, but it’s definitely saturated. Just keep in mind, that cyan have different anodization - kinda matte, chalky and grippy, not as glossy and smooth as other colors.

Nice, thanks. That’s how the black D1s is too. Almost more of a powder coat than an anodizing

The colours look very vibrant and I love the mouse mat.

NHLD - New Hank light day - got the K-1 in dark gray with W 2.2 last night, wow. Couldn’t be happier

KR7

The KR1 frame with a 21700, tail switch, and a little bit bigger head with seven LEDs, optic, and Aux leds. Basically the tail switch version of the other seven LED lights we like.
Seems like it would be perfect scalability to me, increasing about 4 mm in width to the head and also to the battery tube.

Who’s in?

anyone have the Noctigon KR4 with E21A 2000k tint ? how is it ? i know warm as heck but how warm ?? dont own currently a light below 3000k tint so curious, and also how do u select trit installs if want buy i dont see any option put in which color u want on website ?

You buy the trit and install it yourself or you perform a grandiose supplication to Hank . The 2000k is a fun thing, as for it real use ? For me it’s a learning tool .

I’m typing this as I have a 2000K e17a quad ceiling bouncing the room. I absolutely love it and might actually get rid of 2700-3000k emitter lights that previously served the role of near bedtime indoor lighting. Really (seriously) has a calming effect for me and feels dramatically different than 2700-3000K. What does it look like? Light a candle. No joke, its candlelight from a flashlight.

I don’t own either a KR4 or D4, but based on the limited uses of 2000k in many settings (basically any environment with a competing light source - other than a flame), I’d recommend the D4 for this emitter. A side switch is better for tail standing, and that’s what this emitter does best IMO.

I currently have them in a Skilhunt H03 running Anduril. Lovely little light. It’s perfect because it can’t fall over if it’s already on its side haha

I look forward to using it for hiking/camping and seeing how well it minimizes bugs as well as color matching a campfire.

I have two D4V2’s with 2000k E21A. It’s really a beautiful warm light. It’s best for night use, when there isn’t much competing light. As mentioned above, it has a calming effect, much like candlelight.

For the purposes of ceiling bounce (or with a diffuser), would a mule work better or worse?

I think its better with optics to reduce glare. YMMV.

Ok, you guys are convincing me. The brass D4V2 with the E21A 2000K, red switch backlight is sounding pretty nice. Would you recommend the extra floody optic? Not sure why it's $4 extra but might go well with these LED's?

I've been waiting for aluminum with the switch backlight but doesn't seem to be happening.

Ordered it but don’t use it . You kind of want to maximise the output .

e21a typically come with the floody optic anyway… on the contrary I’d recommend getting a regular one to try as well. I put the 10622 in my 2200k e21a because I’m a throw fiend and it makes it a better ‘all round’ light in my view as opposed to just an indoor/up close one. It would appear that 10622 plays nicer on the lower K e21a than the 3500k and higher where colour aberrations are more obvious.
