KC1 keychain light is available now

Ordered it but donā€™t use it . You kind of want to maximise the output .

e21a typically come with the floody optic anywayā€¦ on the contrary Iā€™d recommend getting a regular one to try as well. I put the 10622 in my 2200k e21a because Iā€™m a throw fiend and it makes it a better ā€˜all roundā€™ light in my view as opposed to just an indoor/up close one. It would appear that 10622 plays nicer on the lower K e21a than the 3500k and higher where colour aberrations are more obvious.

10623 frost optic isnā€™t necessary for the E21a 2000K because it doesnā€™t suffer from the same tint shift as cooler temperatures?

Better throw with 10622 or 10621?

Does Hank include 10622 as default for E21a 2000K?

I think 10623 is default for E21a 3500K.

Not sure what the stock optic is, but I'll stay with the stock one then. I don't have any E21A LEDs/lights, so this will be a special light for me. Also I don't have any D4V2, but do have a blue D4SV2 which I really like. I got an old D4, actually an early prototype, upgraded the LED's & firmware couple times.

Just think in brass with the red switch backlight with the warmest E21A's would be pretty awesome.

Not any more . Even the 3500k is fine without .

I asked Hank the other day.

> Does D4V2 Ti E21A come with 10623 frosted optic and 5A driver as standard?

> Yes, D4V2 TI E21A version is with frosted optic and 5A driver.

Hopefully it comes with 10623. I have a 10623 and 10621 spare from Cutter.

I Ordered a brass and titanium/copper d4 today, and honestly wouldā€™ve ordered 2 aluminum if they had lighted switch. The lighted switch Hank does is by far better than anyone elseā€™sā€¦ I wish it was on all the Emisars. Even if the prices went up $10 on every one of them, Iā€™d buy them all. Again. Lol

Got my kr4 2000k just a few days ago with the 10622 as default, same a month ago with my kr4 2700k, same two months ago with my d4v2 3500k .

In my experience with Hank, if he has the item in stock (10622, 10623, etc) and you ask him after you get you order confirmation to use one or the other, he will and he wont charge for it unless it actually costs more. I just respond to the order confirmation email, with my question or request. I just wish he carried 10621ā€™s, because for all my xpl-hi and sst20 id have him ship them with that so i wouldnā€™t have to buy them from MTNe separately.

Did you ask him ? He carries stuff that he doesnā€™t advertise .

You know what, for as much as I email him, I never have asked him. I am going to.

All copper now back on Intl-outdoor.

I kinda wish I didnā€™t see that, but I guess I was there for a reason.

Strange, no 18350 option ?

He doesnā€™t carry them, I askedā€¦

Wish I didnā€™t read that!

Edit: does it seem odd that the all copper version is more $ then the titanium version?ive never seen that beforeā€¦

Thanks . Iā€™m looking for a sample too . Shipping to Canada is an outrage .

Iā€™m curious to see how a 10621 would perform with 2000-2700-3500 e21aā€™s .

Your welcome. MtnE has got them, thats where i buy mine from price is pretty decent on them actually. Not sure about shipping to canada.
I dont think the 10621 or 10622 works with the e21a emitters, and thats why Hank changed what he sends out the e21a light with. but i dont own a e21a light to confirm that with.

Feeler: what are peopleā€™s thoughts on paying an extra $5-$10 list base price for a lighted switch on the d4 and d4s? What if it was an option you could add that costs $5 or $7 or $10 (I have no idea how much it actually should cost - between material and man hours of assembly/complexity).

I have to assume that Hank is not doing The lighted switch in the aluminum d4 because the d4 is the most economically priced light he has, and Iā€™ve read a comment from TK that it is the hardest light to assemble Hank has, and his break even between time and material is probably not worth it on the already inexpensive d4. And then I must further assume he has hesitations about raising the price on the most popular light he sells, after all you know how people love To share their feedback so calmly and courteously (lol).

Iā€™m just saying, I would gladly pay $5-$10 extra, especially if it was an option whether I wanted to or not. I think others may feel the same way? Is $5-$10 way to much? Not enough? Iā€™m trying to open up the floor here for discussion hoping Hank will read it. I want this lighted red or warm white switch light on a cyan or gray colored d4. Or a green backlit switch on a green d4s! Drool! Lol.

Artie, I would go $5 but would have to think about $10 as that is 22% of another D4

I got ready to order a copper D4 and it is not listed anymore.
Maybe Hank was having a little April fools fun.
