Sofirn SP40 with LH351D version

2700K?

Great timing! I was in the market for a high-cri headlamp, and at this price (less than half of a new Skilhunt H04!) I’m happy to give it a shot. I have a feeling I’ll end up with an H04 or HL3A eventually, but I’m also curious to try this Sofirn. Thanks!

The high CRI and warm tint is a wonderful option for a very nice light. Great job! Frankly I like the warm SST-20 in my SP40. As a very nice headlamp with any of the LED’s it comes with, it would be truly excellent if it had a true moonlight mode. Andruil perhaps? How much more would it cost to put a better driver in it? Could there be an SP40 Pro?

Any link to eBay or Aliexpress to buy with coupons?

If you’re savy with electronics and and a soldering iron, a driver swap isn’t too hard but you’d lose usb charging. With some more creativity you could add in usb-c charging.

Half the price as the H04 but zero regulation and head mount is not great. Not a fan of rubber rings

It seems everybody is using the rubber rings now? Looks like H04 used to use a plastic clip type device to hold the light for the headband

The H04 without charging comes with the silicone mount while the RC version has the clip.

Do you have a link? All I can find is the RC version in the US

No link in the US. I order from AliExpress.

How to check if your led is really lh351d? I have xpl 5000k and lh351d 4000k on hand.

Not in the market for SP40, but Sofirn/Wurkkos has an amazing batch of 5000K LH351D 90CRI. Both my WK30 and DL30 have gorgeous tint.

Will this be available on Amazon US at some point in the future?

Any chance we could get the SP40 with LH351D at 3500K?

When driver with stabilization and lens? :sunglasses:

Ugghh. I bought the XPL just three weeks ago … I would have waited if I knew this was coming.

Hi, yes, it will be available on Amazon soon. We have sent a batch of inventory to Amazon warehouse.

Lol, I should’ve informed you guys eariler. :innocent:

Hi, we don’t have the plan to produce the SP40 with LH351D 3500k. You know, the 4000k is almost looks like the 3500k.

Very nice, can’t wait to compare to my xpl-hd one, output Will be similar I think?
