+1. I like the overall design but there is room for improvement for its beam pattern.
See, I actually have to say I like the beam pattern a lot. And I am pretty picky about the multi emitter beam pattern. In sst40, I don’t like this light or the ec03 and sold that because of beam.
But in xhp50, maybe because of larger dome or slightly large die surface, I think this lights beam is great.
Either way. I’m a fan.
I’ve been contemplating buying the sst40 version and reflowing osram CULPM1 on it. But the leds cost about $35 for 4… so I don’t know…
Interested for 1!
Edit: XHP NW pls

Has anybody a coupon for this light? Thank you!!
Update on the Convoy holster:
Excellent fit but isn’t Molle.
Not a big issue as I haven’t belt mounted, but no way I could attach it to a Molle rig.
Artiet59, thanks again for the heads up.
Pictures show the ft02s and ft03 in the ft03 astrolux holster for comparison of fitment. I also included pictures of the ft02s in the convoy m21c holster, it fits ideally in that holster.
Note the ft03 is all black, the ft02s is green with SS bezel.

I got both the xhp50.2 and the sst40 versions. Just noticed that the 50.2 version has drained a 40t whilst sat on a shelf, whereas the sst40 version still has full charge. That’s annoying. Has anyone else experienced this?

I had the same issue. What you are experiencing is probably because of high parasitic drain (standby current). Parasitic drain measured in my FT02S SST40 5000K was in the range of 30mA to 70mA, which was very high compared to a normal level (1lumen.com review showed 0.13mA). At the rate of parasitic drain, it completely drained fully charged battery in a couple of days.
If you have digital multimeter, I would advise you to measure it and contact Banggood. I filed a complaint with Banggood regarding this matter, and they arranged a replacement head for me.
Manufacturer are aware of the issue. Quickly make a video and file for claim.

Why Mateminco offering 4 x XHP50.2 5700, but Astrolux not?

Hi, does anyone know how to purchase battery tube like the one that include in astrolux FT02S? I need it for my FT03 light. I’m searching everywhere, but couldn’t find it.
Banggood or aliexpress link would be great.
Thanks!

I guess you mean the 26650-to-21700/18650 hard plastic adapter tube? I’m also interested in getting additional ones of this but haven’t seen it being sold (probably just need to look around better). Mateminco (Astrolux) bundles it with the FT02S/EA01/EA01S/MF01-Mini so I guess we could ask if they sell just the adapter tube…
error. del.
Here is 21700 to 26650 adapter. To be honest, I think it is overprice for a piece of plastic.

If you cut your tube in a half it might work.
Or find a friend that has a 3d Printer to make one for you. I made a few, but right now I am out of filament so until my Amazon shipment arrives…
