XTAR PB2S question

Anyone know if this charger/ powerbank is compatible with Olight 18650 batteries? Specifically the batteries for the warrior mini, with both the pos & neg on the head of the battery, and the plastic ring around the button top.

I can't tell from online pics if the pos terminal in the Xtar will reach the Olight 18650 button top or if the plastic ring will interfere.

Reallllly specific question I know, but I know someone around here has the answer, you guys never let us down lol.

Thanks in advance!

If it doesn’t reach or the ring is an issue then use a neodymium magnetic maybe

The nipples on the PB2S at the top are just under 1mm long.

Does the Olight 18650 button top recess lower than that?

Now that I took a better look at the battery (instead of going from memory) The button is actually taller than the ring. Must have confused this battery with another... I think the Xtar will work

You just buy some Samsung 50Es for cheap from Illumination and have 10Ah of capacity for hurricane season in a couple of months.

FYI the PB2S charges at 2A, which might be high for some uses. A 5W USB wall charger will limit the current if necessary and the PB2S won’t complain.
