The PLB cells Sofirn stocks can handle 20A CDR, but datasheet says 10A max. I tested at 20A and it handled it nicely while only reaching 70°C. Beats most 5000mAh 26650’s out there
Hopefully the driver restricts the current draw to safe levels. But two 50.2s per cell would be a ton of current and too much for anything but maybe a Golisi gold, and likely still at dangerous levels. The ATR should at least intervene and keep the cells safe in air. IDK about underwater.
Another thing to consider with CDR ratings is cell aging. IR goes up with cycles and therefore temperature rise. Abuse the cells repetitively and it can get ugly sooner than you might expect. 5mOhm extra IR can equal tens of degrees C
The Wurkkos DL70 has been listed in Wurkkos.com website
and also in Sofirn's/AliExpress store

Interestingly, I notice a couple of new Wurkkos "DL" diving series flashlights, which doesn't seem to be mentioned yet:
1) Wurkkos DL10R = uses a single XHP70.2 LED ~ 5000k, uses 1x21700 battery, with Low-Med-High magnetic control ring.
(I guess this makes it the "higher brightness but a bit more floody" version of the Sofirn SD05)
2) Wurkkos DL07 = this looks interesting, as it appears to be a re-purposed Wurkkos WK30 -- it uses 1x 26650 battery
( I mention a 're-purposed' WK30 since the WK30 uses 1x LH351D 5000k, 1x LG UV365, 1x XPE red )
the description of the DL07 indicates it has: 4x LH351D 5000k, 1x LG UV365, 1x XPE red; plus 1x XPL-Hi
*specs on the site are incomplete, there's mention of "1000" lumens but unsure if this just refers to the XPL-Hi, or also the 4x LH351D..
The DL70 appears to be the brighter version of the DL40, since both the DL70 and DL40 use 2x 26650 battery and uses 4 LEDs..
the DL40 uses 4x LH351D 5000k whereas the DL70 uses 4x XHP50.2.
Admittedly, the UI and switch feel take a little getting used to, and I prefer a grippier light (knurling) but the output is better than all my other multi-emitter 4 xhp50 lights, the wider head has better throw than most of them, and the tint is not as cold.
I would love to see a new version of this light in 1x26800, or since I assume the current driver needs the voltage from 2 cells, a 2x26800 tube.
All cells tested over 5500mAh on 1A discharge
I'm getting around 40µA parasitic drain
But what about that tint? 5500K? I didn't see any XHP50.2 3V in spec below 6200K
And to the eye, its closer to 6500K
