Great I’m out of work on a medical leave,so I need to keep me busy for hours and hours, so looks like I’ll have something to help with that LOL
Interested in sst20 4000k.
That diagram is rather intimidating indeed. I have yet to go through all the actions to date.
Wow. That is a scary diagram. I’m pretty comfortable with anduril but 2 is even more powerful.
Unfortunately, XPL-HI does not come in high-CRI. My current EDC is a modified DQG Tiny 18650 IV running Anduril with three high-CRI Nichia 219C as emitters.
This setup is quite a bit lower output than XPL-HI, but I like the tint, color temperature and CRI.
XP-L HI is available as high CRI. For example http://kaidomain.com/Cree-XP-L-HI-T5-7C1-Warm-White-3000K-CRI90-LED-Emitter
I just bought the sst 4000k version. Thanks freeme

That link doesn’t seem to work.
However, 3000K is too warm for me. I’d jump all over it if anyone finds XPL HI high-CRI at 4000K though.
Thanks, fixed the link. I’m not aware of anyone offering 4000K in small quantities.
Found some 4000K 90-CRI XPL available at Mouser.
But they aren’t high-intensity. They have the dome. They would need to use a modified optic or have their domes sliced to fit reliably in Carclo triple optics.
Also, I think shipping costs with Mouser are insane right now.
I would have been interested if it ran off actual AA Alkaline/Nimh and had a single emitter, current controlled. Then it would be a flashlight I could gift it to muggles.
The name should be FW3A Mini. FWAA is nonsensical and will disrupt the naming convention. Knowing Lumintop there will eventually be single-emitter and quad versions … now what are you going to call them?
I’ve gotten used to anduril 1 on all my lights, I also don’t like how getting to turbo is no longer 2c from on, instead it brings you to ceiling, which I can change to turbo but would just rather have all the lights I carry to be uniform in operation
I notice there were some questions about the length of the Vapcell H10.
I’ve ordered the Vapcell H10 a couple of month ago, both flat-top & button-top (unprotected), their measurements are as follows:
Vapcell H10 (flat & button-top unprotected)
Vapcell H10 flat-top @ 49.1mm:
Vapcell H10 button-top (unprotected) @ 51.4mm:
The caliper I’m using is not that high-quality, so maybe error could be +/- 0.1-0.2mm.
Thanks for the measurement d_t_a! :+1:
I measured:
Efest IMR14500 650mAh 9.75A (unprotected flat top) = 48.8mm
Shockli IMR14500 1050mAh 12A (unprotected flat top) = 48.9mm
Sanyo UR14500P 800mAh (unprotected flat top) = 49.1mm
Vapcell “Gold” ICR14500 1000mAh 3A (unprotected button top) = 50.8mm .
Vapcell H10 INR14500 1000mAh 10A (unprotected button top) = 51.3mm
interested in Nichia 4000K

I guess you are refererring to this, last page:
[image] [image] It’s possible but the tolerances on the FWXX series lights are so tight that it could damage the spring or the cell itself over time.
Yes thankyou
Order placed for 2 with the sst20 4000k and a couple H10’s.

You could keep any eye on this thread also.
I did a major rewrite of Anduril. For a long time, I tried to avoid changing the UI much, and stuck to only small changes so it could keep backward compatibility. This was holding it back though, so I finally did all the bigger changes I had been avoiding. The new version is called Anduril 2. Current status 2020-09-30: Almost done; just finishing up a few little things. What changed? A lot: Uses a “simple UI” by default. This has only the core functions, like a normal flashlight — on (ramp),…
That’s where I got the UI diagram from.
Thanks for your help jim
Did you get button top or flattop
