What you got today

lol I suppose this is chinese morse code... :D

Congrats!!!

Thanks. I've been wanting one for a looooong time.

I got my ultrafire t50.

So far so good. The sitting of the tail magnet onto metal surface is cool. But gotta lay it there carefully. If I happen to slep it there with the slightest of force. The light turns off.

Got some Xtar 18700 batteries and a Sipik sk68 clone. Waiting for my other flashlight to get here to test the batteries.

I got my free laser pointer from the dailyshop. Thanks Jennifer. The laser focuses into a dot, astronaut, happy feet and a spaceship. Two LEDs put out 3.7 lumens. The kids like it.

I got my Olight M3X today...kelly

Ceiling bounce + Flashlight = Awesome photos!

My wife made 4 orders from ali express on the 12 May from 4 different sellers. 2 arrived today and 2 yesterday. That is pretty good I think (apart from the fact they were not for me)

Got any photos to show?

yep, that's the sympathic girl we had banned from BFL

:p

Angel Fire 502B host. It has been put to good use already!

That's a good "master". I recommend to get also some inexpensive off-camera "slaves" to allow more creative lighting.

I have three of these and I'm very happy with them (for $41 you can't go wrong). Just position them to some nice angle, set to optical slave mode (+ adjust the desired amount of light) and shoot with your current flash: When the in-camera flash is fired the slaves are automatically triggered, giving you the desired amount of light from desired directions.

Here's good place to start reading about your soon-to-be addiction: strobism.

Back on topic: I got Thrunite T30 (For $34.95 it was a steal! A very nice light with moonlight mode and nice UI), Romisen RC-C3 NW (Nice small light with perfect tint, recommended. But has unbelievably ringy beam - especially for a OP reflector!), and replacement driver for my SWM R01A (Special thanks to Sunwayman & Battery Junction for delivering me one!)

a Sunwayman V10R Ti from intl-outdoor.com. Well, I suspect it to be a fake item. The imprint on it is somhow bad made and there is no serial number. Other than that it performs well and it came with all the usual accessories and warranty certificate. Still, I'm not willing to simply accept it the way it is. I will make some fotos today and contact the customer service.

Interesting... I'm curious to see what's up.

Yeah, I’m curious too. I can’t wait until cheap clones of the SWM come out with the variable brightness rings on them.

What I got today was a new record for me and very impressive. I ordered 3 XML 1A tint U2s on 16mm boards and one on a 14mm board from LCK LED on May 14th at 3 am I got them today May 24th 10 days later. Crazy fast shipping if I do say so, by far the fastest order from China I ever got beating my previous record a twelve day Manafont order by a full two days.

I will add these are by far the brightest XMLs I have ever got and they have a very even beam color, well worth the extra couple dollars they cost over the cheaper garbage that's out there.

You know, I never even realized they were located in China. Every time I’ve ordered from them I’ve received my stuff in days. I always assumed they were US based. Ridiculously great service from them…always!

After my initial 2 orders from CNQG vanished into thin air a couple months ago, Ric recent them both in one package and they arrived today (mostly, a few XM-L 1C and an XP-G are back ordered) and I have lots of blank p60 pills, some blue GITD tail caps, some new TIR optics to try, a reflector the same size as the TIR optics to test out, some PCB blanks in 30mm & 17mm sizes, some white silicon diffusers in large & small sizes, and a few XM-L 3C emitters.

I also received a Beamtech BT-950L that I'll be reviewing in a few days. Initial thoughts are promising with only one initial disappointment (lens o-ring related). The best part is I ordered it from Tmart on the 21st and it arrived today, the 24th!!! The other surprise is it arrived wrapped in a bubble bag (not the surprise) inside the usual white box (still not the surprise) but get this...the box was uncrushed or dented in any way (there's the surprise!). You could actually give it as a gift in the white box it arrived in. And of course the host itself is free from any scratches, dings or chips.

The next package was from BIC and contained an iPad2 window/desk mounting kit, a touch stylus, and a 4-pack of glass nail files for the little lady (one was broken ).

With any luck this will be waiting for me when I arrive home this afternoon. Yes, sir! A fine day indeed!

Yeah that's definitely not from the states.
