I have that diffuser and it’s great!
I would bet that this will have many variants and rightfully so.

Mark M: MoreLumens: wolfstyle:I’d like to see stainless bezel and glow gaskets for the FWAA.
Also glowing tail cap would be nice. Then we would probably also want this: Lampshade
I just wait for different colors right now. Also won’t be long when copper and maybe brass versions are coming too. Not sure about different colors though, maybe if this version sells like hotcakes.

I like that lampshade too. It’s stable, size is right and it just looks good. Probably gives nice and even light too?
Was wondering now that small lights are back and Lumintop likes to continue different series like GT with that Nano thing…. Well what about FWAAA? Could it be even done?
Yes the lampshade gives a very nice distribution of light and it works well with many lights even if the fit isn’t perfect.
If any company could make an FWAAA it would be Lumintop!

Great idea. But $ 20,- for a piece of plastic? Seriously?
Hopefully, Fin17, Freeme or Neal have a 90% off code :-D

Pricey? Sure. But this thing is a hunk of plastic, really really thick, which gives it good performance with high powered flashlights. It even has o-rings.
I want an FWCR2032! :-P 500lm for 5s. :-D

No offense but this is really cheap to produce with injection molding. And plastic material costs are inexpensive, too. For $ 20 you get a full flashlight like Sofirn SC31 Pro.

I guess I’ll find something cheaper in my box
And a button cell, maybe not, but a FW1/2AA would probably be nice Shorty tubes, anyone? :innocent:
Great alternatives! :D :THUMBS-UP: Anyway, I just asked Fin17 if he can do something about the lampshade‘s price on Banggood. Maybe a group buy can do some extra magic to drop the price even lower than usual, IDK. Don‘t we all have at least one or two FW3A or FW21 Pro at home already? ;-)
Concerning the button cells, I vote for a nice 12S buck driver (12x CR2032 = 36V) with awesome constant current regulation. No need for too short tubes. ^:)
SST20 and nichia 3000K stocks will arrive in a day time.

Absolutely no offense I agree with you that it is expensive.
Mine came in today, I ordered the 4k SST20 on my TA Lumen Tube I get about 1900 lumen in turbo at startup with an Efest IMR 14500 then drops hard in about 20-25 seconds to around 100 lumen which it seems to maintain. Absolutely amazing performance from such a small flashlight. The tint on both of mine is absolutely great with no hint of green.
1900 to 100? Would be curious how it maintains 700 or so lumens.

It doesn’t, now to be fair I haven’t tried disabling thermal throttling. No matter what level of brightness you set to light to, it will adjust down to around 100 lumen in the case of the SST20, I assume it must be one 7135 current regulator usually takes about 20-30 seconds to settle down to the 100 lumen. You can keep hitting turbo though if needed.
Pulled the trigger…
My two just reached NY! Hoping for early next week to have them in hand. Much excite.
