No offense but this is really cheap to produce with injection molding. And plastic material costs are inexpensive, too. For $ 20 you get a full flashlight like Sofirn SC31 Pro.
I guess I’ll find something cheaper in my box 
And a button cell, maybe not, but a FW1/2AA would probably be nice Shorty tubes, anyone? :innocent:

Concerning the button cells, I vote for a nice 12S buck driver (12x CR2032 = 36V) with awesome constant current regulation. No need for too short tubes. ^:)

1900 to 100? Would be curious how it maintains 700 or so lumens.
It doesn’t, now to be fair I haven’t tried disabling thermal throttling. No matter what level of brightness you set to light to, it will adjust down to around 100 lumen in the case of the SST20, I assume it must be one 7135 current regulator usually takes about 20-30 seconds to settle down to the 100 lumen. You can keep hitting turbo though if needed.

What’s the point of having a ramping interface if it only works on high (1900) and low (100?)
The SofirnSP10S will do the following:
37 Minutes (thats minutes not seconds) 800lumens on Turbo
2hrs 11 min hon high 310 lumens
9.5 hrs at 80 lumens.
Why is the FWAA so DRASTICALLY different.
Not to mention the SP10S is $16 .
I am not knocking the FWAA but dropping to 100 lumens (from any power level) seems like a manufacturing mistake.
no what? u can ramp anywhere from low and high… ofc it cant keep up highest for very long…
