Umm, ill take one of each, including the copper, just no turbo glow ring please!. I am definitely in the minority here i feel, but i like it. then again theres no accounting for taste LOL. I do Not like the turbo glow ring though, dont see a need at all, design looks better without it.

Looks like it can do that, Neal’s brandless LEP does 2000m and by the looks of it the lens diameter could be the same.
Although this light is clearly shorter than Neal’s thrower, it is too chunky for a next LEP light for me (and IMO the details are ugly). I hope for a really small LEP light to arrive with maybe a 18350 or 18500 cell.
I agree, they should put in more effort for the design.

Also, is this 21700 or 18350? Post 19 has conflicting details and it doesn’t look like 21700 could even fit in this unless it’s has a very short focal lengthand light engine

You need a looooong exposure time to show trits lighting up, but that would grossly over-expose the beam but it is not. They did tricks with this photo 
.
I am clueless why those trits appeared to be that bright even in their video. Haha.
Probably some ultra low light settings.

If they’d not have put that glow in the dark middle part it would actually look decent. I’m guessing it can be removed as it isn’t present in one of the pics…and what’s with the multicolour tritium or whatever it is?
I think they are ‘turbo glow’ inserts not trits.

May i remind you this light is rated at just 1200m ?
That might explain why the trits appear that bright, because they actually are that bright.
1200m equals 360 kCd and probably just a very low Luminous output.
My Maxtoch L2K only gives 466Lm, but it does at least 2,23Mcd which equals almost 3km.
What are the chances they backlight the turbo glow bars (‘trits’) from holes inside the bezel?
