Not sure how to answer your question. Is it worth the money? Sure, Convoy makes good lights for the money.

Will it do what you want? I don’t know what you want.

This space for let.

S21A/B has the option of XHP50.2 now, I have an S21B in 4000k. But I prefer the XHP70.2 emitter and believe the newly released S11 with an XHP70.2 would a better buy.

I am afraid we live in a world where yes often times means no. It’s unfortunate. In NYC often times taxi cab drivers have their availabe light on but they don’t stop. What does this tell you?

Don’t try hailing a cab while carrying a blood-stained machete?

Yes, and they fly past you, roll down the window and yell out, “I am going to Brooklyn.”

i guess what i meant is with that set up i have an s2+ that i love in sst40 i just heard how quickly the s2 heats up with that emitter. i guess im looking for something with more throw then flood and thought this might be the ticket.

Is there a visible difference in the beam profile between the S21A and S21B, SMO reflector for both?

I brought recently the S21A with osram because for once I wanted the bright body colors and while the CULMP1 is a bit brighter than the CSLPM1 I was tight on budget, but I wonder if I made the wrong choice.

Okay, anything compact is going to heat up fast. The C8+ at 4.8A gets just over 3 minutes before reaching 50°C. The 35% level is best and there’s not much noticable difference at max. Maybe grab the S2+ with the 3A driver Simon has with temp regulation

does it come in the osram emitter? i understand the whole size thing i was just wondering if the larger cell capacity would be more benefit. I guess what i want is a smaller back up off leash dog walking light. I have a c8g in sst40 but want something little more concentrated in the beam

Here’s a demo of the S2+ I took for the one I sell. 776 lumens ANSI with 387m throw.

The S21A will be better at keeping cooler and better runtime, but te S2+ is still a decent little light

The CSLPM1 in the S21A is not as throwy as the smaller CSLNM1 in the S2+ at low power, I’m not sure if there is an actual throw difference on turbo. This video from Weerapat Kiatdumrong shows the difference on a S2+ (I guess on turbo):

Edit: this one is better

That account has lots of other useful videos.

It tells you they are doing a ‘cash’ job thats not recorded in the meter. Negotiate a fair with customer, don’t start meter & off you go keeping the whole fair for yourself. If you switch the meter on the light automatically goes out. Happens often, great for the driver & customer, not so good for the owner who needs revenue to keep his cabs on the road & pay the huge loan he took out for a Taxi licence…
