thrunite.com - no response to mails?

Hey everyone,
did anyone else have this experience with thrunites customer service, lately? When I asked them about a potential order, they answered the next day. But now, after I ordered (nearly two weeks ago…), they don’t respond to my mails. I have not received any kind of shipping information, only the generic order confirmation. I always liked thrunite for their products and customer service, but now I am honestly a little disappointed.

is it possible that you are asking questions they dont have an answer for?

if you really need to get a vendors attention, file a paypal dispute claiming the package was not received and you request a full refund, and also use the email contact posted on the dispute page, to also request a refund from the vendor.

I find vendors respond very quickly when their paypal Income is at stake. The person in charge of handling emails about disputes, is not the same as the person in charge of emails about purchases. Their jobs are different… One is in charge of getting you to send them money. The other is in charge of deciding to give your money back.

Forget about asking for tracking… nobody can tell you more than what you already know. Stop trying to communicate with someone that is ignoring you. Just Escalate to Paypal Dispute, and get a refund.

asking where it is, may not be a question anyone can answer for you…

Thanks for your input. I only asked them, if/when my order has been shipped and if they have a tracking code, which should be easy to answer…

nobody answered you

maybe there IS no tracking, so they cant provide it…
maybe they dont know the answer to your estimated delivery date question

for me… there are only a couple options

be passive, and wait until the package arrives

or take control of the transaction
by looking up the contact address in paypal
and send your questions again, to the dispute address,
NOT to the sales address that has ignored you

you dont have to actually file the dispute if you get a satisfactory reply
but You will be in control of what happens next

its your choice… take control, or wait passively

imo, you waited two weeks, you sent an inquiry, got no reply
now you have the choice to look up the dispute email contact
and if that does not produce satisfaction
get a refund

the paypal dispute process is not difficult, and they require you to send an email first
the main point is the email contact for disputes is not the same as the email you were ignored by

Just wanted to give a quick update for those interested. Thrunite replied today and said, they tried to contact me a week ago, but the mail somehow didn’t go through. They were also on holiday, so it took them a little longer to reply again. They now cleared things up about my order. Also, thanks to LumenMax for reaching out to them.
