In the ramp mode or candle mode, it’s possible to make the light turn
itself off after a while.

To activate the timer, go to the brightness you want and then use a 5H
action. Keep holding the button, and the light should blink once per
second. Each blink adds 5 minutes to the timer.

In ramp mode, it slowly dims until it’s at the lowest level, then shuts
off. In candle mode, it stays at the same brightness until the final
minute, at which point it dims and dies out.

The user can change the brightness while the timer is active. If this
happens during the final few minutes, it also “bumps” the timer up to a
minimum of 3 minutes. So if it’s getting really dim and you need a
little more time, you could do a 5H to add 5 minutes, or simply ramp up
to the desired brightness.

Been playing around with both of them for a while. These really are great little torches, one question though. In Anduril 2 is the sunset mode default time only 5 min? I know you can add time in 5 min increments. In the original version default was 60 min.

I must say that this little one is just asking for longer bezel like FW1A and single emitter TIR option.

Lumintop states a length of 70,9 mm in the manual and on their various websites, but that is not quite correct.

I have measured the following:

Length: 74,5 mm

Head diameter: 20,5 mm

Body diameter: 18,2 mm

Tail diameter: 20,4 mm (diameter of the protruding clip ring: 21,6 mm)

Weight (empty): 33,7 g

yep, the DQG Slim AA is indeed a bit longer. I have measured mine at 76,6 mm, 2,1 mm longer than the FWAA. The DQG Tiny AA II (which is of course a twisty) is 68 mm long, 6,5 mm shorter than the FWAA.

Arrived today. This is my second Lumintop, and this one is even more impressive with the Anduril 2 driver. Soooo small. I haven’t got my head around the interface yet, but I will.

Ain’t no lie this little puppy gets scorching hot in short order (Vapcell H10). 10-15 seconds on turbo will curl your hair.

it sure does! I’ll keep mine in simple UI with a greatly reduced top ramp - no turbo. I can always put it back in advanced UI if I want to show off for 5 seconds.

I would really like to see a stainless bezel for this light, I use one on every EDC… lets face it they get dropped.

Anyone know how the tints compare for the Nichia 219C 3000K and 4000K versions?
Any projection of CRI on these two and for the SST-20 4000K?

Nichia 219C 3K, 4K and SST-20 4K are 90 CRI,

Nichia 219C 5K is only 70 CRI.

Since this is a FET +1 driver, this should help the tint issues normally associated with the SST20, but I’m really curious about the two 90CRI Nichia’s. Can anyone with those comment on the green/pink tint of these options?

I’ve got Nichia 3k and 5k. Both floody and 5k is not bad bad for low cri but beeing called Nichia AND not High CRI botherd me so i swapped with Osram’s.

I still have a mixed feelings about 3000K, seems to me a bit yellowish/greenish... Need to compare with other light i have (but i need to find that one first)

Lumintop’s current 4000k sst-20s are bloody gorgeous, even on lower power modes.
