Sofirn SP10 Pro (AA/14500/Andúril 2) - now available!

Higher voltages haven’t been an issue with Anduril. The issue with higher voltage community drivers has been that 7135s are rated for only 6V, so 2-cell input is bad for them. There have been some boost drivers developed that use ATTiny series (and therefore support Anduril).

Interested in several. Thank you.

Interested im in for 1-2! Like!

Interested as well; I don’t even care about Anduril.

Just start the damn thing on the lowest level, use a high CRI emitter, let me use lithium primaries, and I’m good to go for a few.

If these LED options would be made available, I’ll probably get one of each (the Anduril 2 based SP10S)…

I have a few questions regarding this Anduril driver:

  • (I probably didn’t read very carefully) — is there LVP for 14500 battery? (how about AA battery — understand it’s not as required for AA, because I guess the electronics might shut off if voltage becomes too low?)

Interested. I already have black SP10S and the host is nice. Anduril will be a great addition. But I wonder if it is possible to have a TIR lens like in their AAA flashlight (C01S)?

Yeah, I implemented LVP for both. It’s configurable, but for now I’ve got it set up so that if the voltage is above 2.0 volts it assumes the battery is lithium ion and uses the typical LVP threshold (2.8v?). But if it’s under 2.0 volts, it assumes a AA and uses 0.7 volts for the cutoff. Again, these parameters are configurable at compile-time.

Interested.

Multiple high CRI options please.

This looks good, I’d certainly be interested in one or two

Interested in 2

Interested in 2.

Interested, no……, I want one!

Interested in it

Can’t we have the vastly superior Anduril 1 final version?

Yes, we understand that you are very particular (and vocal) about your Anduril preferences. Please realize that this is your opinion and that not everyone shares your opinion.

I don’t know if a final decision had been made about which Anduril version. Heck, Sofirn probably can’t even get the chips to build these. The lights you see me describe and document are built by me, for me, and according to my preferences. And hopefully if Sofirn is finally able to get the proper chips, they include flashing pads. If they include those, you are free to flash whatever firmware you’d like.

All of those things said, I think a slightly customized Anduril2 build would be to Sofirn’s benefit. Having the Simple UI be presented as default would ensure that the same light can work for enthusiasts and “normal users” alike. This keeps them from needing to offer a separate “BLF Edition” and regular version.

There’s a guy on my FW3X thread telling me my argument is daft, he’s saying nobody likes it!

I get why a safe UI option corners the market but that doesn’t mean Toykeeper has to completely butcher the Advanced UI, I mean no option to turn the light off from Turbo? that’s horrific. It’s the only bad thing about the close to perfect Amutorch E3S. Ironically the light might be safer for normal users but it’s also become far far trickier to program. It’s a UI at war with itself.

Not sure if I’m on the list already, but I’m definitely interested in two of them!

Sorry to hear that 1C is too hard for you to press.

I guess you’re not following events and just jumping on the TK fan club wagon, TK wants to implement one click from Turbo to return to previously used level.

I guess there’s something wrong with your memory or perception of the reality as this is not what we’ve discussed in the Anduril 2 thread and other places. These are harsh words but still don’t reach your level of perfection.
