Waste not, want not.
Niwalker ET1 for less than $40
Seems like a pretty good deal since theyāre closer to $100 or more on their website
Ughā¦ donāt get me started.
Yogurts were 8oz cups, then āwhipsā and āmousseā stuffed only 6oz of aerated yogurt into 8oz-sized cups, then went down to 6oz outright, and are currently only 5.3oz.
Traditional 1lb/16oz cans of coffee packed tight became 14oz of same-sized cans with loosely packed coffee, and Iāve seen some cans with only 10oz and change. Pretty soon theyāll be selling empty cans.
Half-gallons of ice-cream became 1.5qts. Rectangular cartons got sharply tapered at the bottom to look almost the same size from the top.
Rolls of paper-towels which would never fit on the holder ātil it was about a quarter-gone, nowaways the ārollsā leave huge gaps like theyāre already half-gone! Bigger rolls are called ājumboā or āextraā or similar language.
Sneaky SOBs, you really gotta look and take note how contents are getting less and less over time (which might slip by most people), vs jacking up prices (which people will notice).
Years back I read an article in Consumers report. A reader wrote in about Woolite detergent . The one for handwashing , the TV commercial said one cap full in a tub of water is all you need (or words to that effect).
The reader said they bought a new bottle , when going to use it they dropped the cap and it rolled under the stove something . So they took the cap off the old bottle only to find it was too small for the new bottle .
Woolite made the new cap much larger so you would in turn use more detergent and have to buy more Woolite sooner .

This Amazon listing for the Lumintop B01 bike light has a 40% off promo code Q359PUOV which brings the price down to about $25.
Iāve had one for a while and like it. Decent (plastic) mount, cutoff beam, and nice tint. Feels like 4000K to me. Accepts a 21700 cell but comes with an adapter tube and a 2600mAh 18650.
It will also run off a USB power source without a cell installed.
Bugger, mustāve expired? Said ācoupon successfully appliedā, but it only reduced it from 30 to 25. Yeahā¦no.
Excellent bike light for the $$$. Got one for my daughter a while back. Nice not to blind people when riding in the dark.
The Amazon Basics AAA rechargeable battery
AAA Basics
These are the āperformance batteriesā not the high capacity
At 12 for $10.99 plus shipping
The WireCutter review isā hereā:12 Best Rechargeable AA and AAA Batteries of 2023 | Reviews by Wirecutter
These used to be made in Japan, I bought some then and they seem very good. The current ones are Chinese made and arenāt as good. Iād pass on these. Look at the reviews but sort by most recent, a lot of the reviews are for the old ones.
That review you linked is for the old ones. They used to be black with a green top. The new ones are green with a black top.
I wasnāt aware of the difference, thanks for pointing that out.
A little suspicious that the review you linked has the Amazon batteries above the Eneloops in both sizes ānot my personal findings but the Basics are very good just not Eneloop good
$8 with code XFAVU697 .
nope. not me.
With an additional $10 off coupon. Nice! Ordered with my rewards and ended up paying $27 total.
Edit: Deal is dead. That didnāt last long.
Acebeam EC35 Gen II $39.90 (as of 5/21 10pm est) might not last long knowing amazonās price changes.
Itās the cool white one, but itās not hard to open the head and reflow something else.
I bought one for $54 a while back and it does include a cell.
Just bought another for a fathers day gift.
Edit: Deal is dead. That didnāt last long.
Already had 2, ordered another. Also ordered the N9 with a discount code making it 17.99. If it is as good as the N7 with the added lumens, features, and 18650 battery size, that is a good deal also. Love the rotating head that actually works well.
