Lumintop GT nano on the way

Wonder what the best 10440 li-ion cells would be for the Nano? Given they only have a tail spring I’m guessing button tops are the way to go. What good 10440 cells does ya’ll recommend?

Has anyone recevied a titanium Nano yet? I just ordered one from Neal and he also advised they would release a Ti 10440 tube at some point so I will be keeping an eye out for that.

The best I could find is the Vapcell INR10440 320MAH 3A button top. Acebeam has a 320MAH 10440 that might be the same battery.

By the way, the official store on Ali agreed with the problem and sent a new battery and a charging attachment. Nice to deal ...

Copper and Brass 10440 tubes are now showing as available on Lumintop Lighting for anyone interested.

I can finally complete my Brass GT Nano

A faulty GT Nano Copper was sent from Aliexpress. There are no clicks when you press the power button. The button is locked, does not move even one micron when pressed firmly. Can you please tell me what could be the reasons for blocking the button? How to properly disassemble this flashlight and get to the button? Thanks for the advice.

congrats on your good taste in copper

sorry the light does not turn on… yet
lets trouble shoot some things…

is there an insulating disc to remove?
did you fully charge the battery?

the manual? it says there is a 4 click button lockout… maybe that happened?

The insulating disc is removed, the battery is fully charged, when the shank is screwed in, the LED flashes twice. All right. The only problem is the immobility of the button. The power button does not move at all even when pressed firmly. The button is physically locked, motionless.

Ткните кого-нибудь носом в четкое руководство по установке предела температуры. У меня в Андуриле много фонарей. Нарсил первый.

Got my GT Nano today. In copper, with both short and long tubes. I thought I would buy at least alu as well but at this price level it was not worth it to have 2 lights. Now I’m very glad that I go one, no more no less.
It’s really a great performer. So much more powerful than any 10180 I’ve seen….actually throws way better than any 10440 I’ve seen and even any 14500 I’ve seen as well (though I admit none of my 14500 lights is a thrower).
At the same time I still think that a 0.5 mm² LED would be a better choice.
It’s also quite large, I’d love to see it disassembled because there seems to be so much empty space in the head…at the same time I don’t want to unsolder mine because the fear of braking it is larger than curiosity.

But I wouldn’t have use for 2 Nanos. They are too large for keychain and I don’t think I’ll EDC it. Maybe for a while, not because it’s a good EDC choice but because I can. I EDCed GT Mini with 18350 as well. Other than this it will see occasional use, mostly as a backup.

Overall I view it with 10180 as a cute toy. If you buy lights because you like this kind of toys, get one.
With 10440 it could be used as a practical backup light. But quite specialized and expensive. I think it’s worth recommending for some users, but these would be a minority.

HI guys,
i’ve read somewhere that the aluminium nano does not have a copper PCB on the emitter and its not a good idea if you order the 10440 tube to run it on turbo
My question is does the Brass Nano has the copper PCB?

The recent GT Nano samples have copper MCPCB, so it is supposed that the other host versions (which are also “recent”) have them. I run mine with a 10440 Vapcell and didn’t have any issue with it so far!

No problems with mine either. I was told by a creditable source that only the very first batch of aluminum GT Nanos had the aluminum PCB. I’m sure that batch was sold out long before the brass nano was produced.

I took my Nano for a walk last week (with 10440). I also got Emisar D4S as a backup. Nano lasted 45 minutes so I actually needed it.
Thoughts?

  • just amazing performance for the size
    • but really I’m not convinced that Andruil is worth increasing the length of the light so much
  • as many modern throwers, this one has too deep reflector to walk by it comfortably :frowning:
    • It probably makes sense in 10180 wow light, but with 10440 Nano is actually useful. Such deep reflector reduces usefulness, it works poorly as a general purpose light. And what’s the point of having a dedicated thrower of this size? Please note that my GT Mini is a great walking light, reflector is neither too shallow nor too deep.
  • interestingly my D4S (with four 2mm² Osrams) had about the same beam width

Overall I have mixed feelings. I know that Nano is first and foremost a wow light. All features of a full-sized one as well as amazing performance in 10180 package, that’s the point.
At the same time:

  • it’s a little too large to use it at a keychain, zipper etc. which greatly reduces the wow use
  • it’s almost a great secondary light and that I don’t feel good with that ‘almost’

After playing around with GT Nano I want a version with a 16340 tube similar to olight S1 Mini. This thing could be a really useful small pocketable thrower!

I like that photo. I decided against getting a GT Nano after being tempted for a while. A 16340 or 18350 version would be awesome. Hank are you here? Next thing after that might be a Noctigon K1 with 18350 tube. I think that is a significant jump in size though.

Yeah, I was on same boat. Didn’t wanted to order one, but at the end I couldn’t resist a deal for the brass one. Initially thought this is more of a toy light, but oh boy, this thing throws even with the 10180. And with the 10440 body looks kind of odd with that really long and thin body. That’s why I think the 16340 could be a perfect match for that reflector.
Now after playing around with the nano, I have ordered GT Micro with W1 that I want to compare with KR1 with same LED. Seems like Micro reflector is a deeper, so it might throw a bit further.

Peanut Beast from Countycomm

They changed the UI! How despicable!

"The smallest & brightest flashlight we make" - yeah, sure, like they made it...

Actually they have several re-branded Lumintop lights, but all at a higher cost. Even this one is one of my favorite larger EDC lights made by Lumintop: https://countycomm.com/collections/view-all-light-products/products/18650-extreme-tactical-light-by-maratac, the SD Mini, dis-continued now.

Isn’t that about the same as a Mini with a short tube?
