4 x eneloop rechargeables.
a well used light and works very well.
threads cleaned and greased often with NO OX ID.

I think I paid some $32.
looking for £20 posted.
a light which may never be made again by Clemence.

comes with spare optics, O ring, and lanyards.

aha, thanks… I see where the HCRI comment comes from:

fwiw, there is no actual CRI specification for the Red Phosphor Converted E17a
It does have a 4x broader spectrum than the xp-e2 red… both centered near 650nm

E17a is +_ 100nm from the dominant peak that is centered around 645nm
instead of ± 25nm for XP-E2,

looks like a nice wide spectrum LED
