FREEME ✌ LUMINTOP FWAA Andúril 2 14500 Flashlight Deals - CL2 Bundle Deal

I got a slightly pink 219c 4000k.
It looks better than the SST-20 4000k I also got, especially at lower outputs.

I’ll be keeping the 219c as is!

I ordered a Nichia one since I have a ton of SST-20 lights… I have a Lumintop IYP365 with a really good tinted 4000k Nichia so I was hoping they’d use the same bin. Mine hasn’t shipped yet, it’s been “unfulfilled” for a week.

My SST20 4000k took 16days from order to doorstep. Beautiful tint……. love it. Ordered 5 Vapcell H10, was only sent 2 but was credited $15 for the three that I didnt get. Not sure what happened there but Im still happy. Thanks freeme!

I think you just set the top of the simple ramp to 150. I think it even comes that way out of the box.

Out-of-the-box, the top of ramp in Simple UI mode is much, MUCH less than turbo in complex UI mode.

I find it hilarious that one thread on BLF talks about all the problems with this light while another one is taking orders for it. All at the same time.

Few of first batch buyers did receive a faulty light out from the box (FACT), but how many of those who raise concern about FWAA issue actually own a FWAA?

Ok. I was just going by the manual, as I’ve already reconfigured everything on mine. It says the default config for the simple ui is a floor of 20 and a ceiling of 150.

Does anyone know where the Anduril config file for this light is at? I’d like to see where the 1x7135 is set on the 1-150 scale.

We heard FWAA will be made in copper, brass, and Ti.

A Cu/Ti model with the Ti stonewash finishes that the GTnano has would make me bite. This thing needs a Cu head though for the Ti versions. It barely get’s by with Al.

NOW for the bigger question… What about a SINGLE emitter version? Pretty please?

Woo! Ti with cu heatsink!!

Indeed, a stonewashed ti version with copper shelf would be sweet

The 219C 3000k, 219C 4000k, 219C 5000k and SST20-4000k are FWAA,
the other LEDs are from other flashlight models…

Hopefully my Nichia 4000k is decent. I have one nice tinted 219c 4000k and one that was super yellow and I couldn’t wait to swap it out. The good one is in another Lumintop light, so I figured they have access to the good bins. My order from Neal still says “unfulfilled” after 9 days. Did he take that long to ship for anyone else?

I received my 3000k fwaa. What a great size. I also seem to have won the 219c tint lottery, I never before liked any 219c, always received green/yellow ones.

The tint is a bit less pink than 219b, but easily as nice as 7a xml2 and xpl-hi.
As said the beam is very floody, but that’s fine for my use.

Quick pic below.

219b sw30, my extremely pink sst20, fwaa, 7a xml2.

this is going to be fun

Pure Ti is pure crap so i hope somebody listens.

TiCu is what we need AND in a single emitter version.

Once you apply properly thermal grease under MCPCB this thing gets dangerously hot... now imagine being cooked in pure Ti.

+100

Sometimes it’s actually better not to put the best thermal grease on.

After all, without the best thermal grease you might get 30 seconds of turbo before it gets too hot. With better grease, may you get only 10 seconds.

Which is more useful? 30 seconds sounds good to me. Sure this means heat doesn’t get removed from the LED as efficiently, but frankly that’s usually not an issue. The LED can take a LOT more heat than my hand. As long as it doesn’t get hot enough to melt the solder on the star, I’m fine with it.
