BLF Interest List: EX3 High Current Beryllium Copper Silver Plated springs - Still selling my springs :)

@Tom E, no problem. I still have 5x 3500K SST-20s if you want. As for the 4000k ones, I only have 20 left, so 12 is good.
As for the springs, that’s not an issue at all.

@CNCman, no problem too.

PMs will come soon.

Thanks, yes - would take those 5 3500K's as well.

Thank You very much !!

Good to see people are still taking an interest in these

I haven’t needed any more for my lower amp setups after getting my hands on the Convoy high current spring. Installed both into a C8F and achieved the same lumens with a 40T, so it’s all I need. This BeCu spring is much better for really high current, but I was only using them in the C8F. Now I’ve got 160pcs sitting in my draw haha, not sure what I’ll use them for

IMPORTANT UPDATE

I have paused all spring orders for now, as nobody has seemed to receive any of their spring orders, even the early purchasers when I came back. Therefore, I won’t be accepting orders until I receive more information so I can prevent more springs orders from ending up in the void.

This is freaking unreal to the point I’ve actually opened an investigation with Canada Post, because even with COVID-19 shipping woes being a thing, at least someone from the US or Europe should have received their orders by now.

There’s something real fishy that’s going on. I should be receiving updates by Thusrday, and hopefully, I’ll at least get some shipping compensation because you’ve lost enough time not getting to use my springs.

PS: I’ll ship all of your orders again this Friday since I figured you people have already waited long enough. Hopefully I get more info and this is just a fluke and not someone literally stealing my orders for whatever reasons.

I’m sorry if I caused trouble for any of you, and I hope I’ll be able to make it up to the community who supported me for so long and the people have been so very patient with me.

I find most people don’t really mind waiting if the communication is on point, that’s my experience with my business. You’re a very genuine guy so I doubt anyone is going to be upset to the point it becomes a problem

Thanks for the update, I was starting to think that my package might have been lost.
I hope you’ll be able to be compensated.

Don’t mind waiting. Great previous experiences with BlueSwordM. Hope everything gets straightened out.

Well, I have an update, with bad news and good news.

1. Bad news: It indeed looks like my packages were actually stolen. No record of any of the packages going out of the service center either to the postage trucks or the airplanes to the US. Because these postletter packages handled by Canada Post, a Federal investigation was opened in that regard and they’re looking where the packages got stolen, and there is a very high possibility that other packages than mine were stolen, so nothing targeted at least. That does mean however that my springs are long gone :person_facepalming:

2. Good news: Because this is an exceptional event, Canada Post will reimburse entirely reinburse the shipping fees and related fees. Of course, the packages’ contents weren’t reimbursed since they had “unknown monetary values”. Sad, but perfectly reasonable.

What does this mean for me? Well, that this is just a one-time event, and it won’t happen again. I’ll take my precautions however and ship from another Canada Post.

What does this mean for you? Well, I get to ship everyone’s spring orders tomorrow! This time, the orders should arrive quickly and safely :sunglasses:

Once at least one person receive their package, I’ll reopen the sale.

So you make quite a big loss on all those packages since you now make zero profit (maybe) on the contents. Very annoying for you

Yeah, but this is what can happen at times. I’m definitely not in the red for this GB, but this definitely hurt my pocketbook quite a bit. At least I got reimbursed on the shipping.

It’d be nice if they could find my packages at least, but after such a long time, I have low hopes.

What matters the most is that you guys and gals have been understanding throughout the entire process, and very patient overall.

Anyway, what matters the most to me is that one person ordered about half of my remaining SST-20s, so I’ll have to get rid of the last of my SST-20s. I don’t do much LED swaps these days anyway, but it’s sad to see them go.

Thank you all.

Anyway, time to update my low res profile pic to a new remade high res profile pic for this nice occasion. Nothing can stop my regained momentum now

I’m happy to read that you set your profit margin high enough to actually cover the loss. It would feel really wrong if all the effort you put in this actually resulted in a money loss. Even if you’re just barely in the green, hopefully future transactions will bring the profits up.

Ouch, I’m sorry to hear that. I’m glad you at least aren’t losing money, and am grateful you’re even in a situation where you’re able to make it right for your customers.

I’ll definitely continue to purchase through you in the future

Have any spring orders been received from the re-shipment?

No, it doesn’t seem like it, but if my estimations are correct, some of the orders should be coming in this week, if not by the end of June at the maximum.

The delays have been insane, but I am hopeful that everything will go fine. :sunglasses:

So, people, I actually have some excellent news for all of you!

You see, I received a call from Canada Post yesterday, but since I was working, it went directly to voicemail.

Earlier, I checked my voicemail, and the Canada Post worker in charge of the investigation essentially told me to come pick up some stuff that was attached to my name at my closest Canada Post office, and to bring a small box…

I wondered why, until I got there, and saw all of your packages!!!

I was way too excited, and I came back home. Of course, being the guy that I am, I brought this in the rain, which wet the box a bit, but nothing too major otherwise.

Here are the packages in question:

Sadly, these are not the original orders: these are the 2nd wave of orders, which had apparently been stuck in limbo in a facility somewhere. As for the original orders, the worker informed me that since the orders have not been found for close to 3 months, there is a very high chance that they have been destroyed/lost entirely, so unless I am very lucky, I won’t be receiving any returns whatsoever.

This sucks, but at least there have finally been good news: I can now finally rest assured that I can just ship them, and that they’ll get to you in a reasonable time

Will soon be DMing those concerned to give them some answers about their orders and whatnot. Some positive answers for once

All messages have been sent, and all orders will be shipped by tomorrow morning.

I hope to god that everything goes smoothly from now on, because my anxiety is just through the roof…

So, question: since people will likely start receiving their orders soon, I wondered.

Is there still any interest for the SST-20 3500k/4000k FD2 bins?

How many of each do you have left? I was looking to pick up some from Lumintop or Hank but I’m not sure they have good bins anymore.
