✌ LUMINTOP CL2 4*SST20 NW 630lm Type-C Camping Lantern Group Buy - ALIVE!!!

LUMINTOP CL2 Camping Lantern

1-4x 14500/AA Type-C Rechargeable

Lumintop CL2 lantern grid

This NOT LT1 direct competitor.

No need to be too critical on its design and performance.

There are tons of people out there who just want a simple light.

I used Obulb almost everyday and it only has a non-replaceable 630mAh battery.

cool

Will update over the weekend. There will be high CRI LEDs for sure.

I’d be in for 2 or 3. NiMh support would be great but even without it, I’m in.

Gonna be good when someone charges their alkaleaks with usb-c.

Not interested. 4 14500s won’t even match a single 21700 for runtime, and barely best a 35E.

If it has a strong magnetic tailcap, I’ll be interested.

Agreed, but AA cells will make this a great gift for grandkids Thumbs Up

Hmm… Does “1-4× 14500/AA Type-C Rechargeable” mean this light works with 14500 Lithium Ion, and AA Alkaline, and AA NiMh rechagrable, or does it just mean AA size Lithium Ion cells?

Both supported but output is most probably lower for AA.

Not sure if stand is included but I can confirm that full specs should be ready by next week.

I’ve been asking for LT1 based on Sofirn SF11 for a while. I’m very interested. I hope this uses Anduril 2 with tint ramping.

Freeme I get that it’s not supposed to compete with the LT1 but when the appearance is so similar, comparisons will happen. I’m interested to see the specs (and details like if the LEDs are on the top or bottom).

Hopefully the charging circuit has a cutoff so that it won’t try to charge things below 2.0V or something so nobody blows up AAs in it.

I have a hunch it will not charge NiMH batteries or anything else below a certain threshold that would indicate a healthy lithium-ion battery is installed. This would confuse many users, but would make sense unless it has a fairly sophisticated charging circuit.

I’m not jumping in yet, but I will watch this thread for more details.

Wow, if this runs on NiMH AA, that's excellent for people that don't like Li-Ion.

I am not interested, but I bet it'll be a great lantern.
